Comic played under Wayne Bennett at the Broncos. That's why he could play to such an age at such a high level, the professionalism and dedication to the job that was instilled into him. Funnily enough he also went on to play for Penrith under a certain Royce Simmons.

Remember watching him warm up pre season at Batley. Was throwing himself at it, sweating buckets in February at the top of the slope.  |

The letter hasn't been sent direct - it's an open letter so it's possible someone at the club has seen it already. I am planning to send it (updated and added to) to AP anyway but I'm not expecting a response and if I get one it wont be quick.
