He may do. Or he may think that FC have lost £813k since he took over so why throw good money after bad if the fans have stopped supporting the club in expected numbers.
We can reiterate that it's his fault, consequences of his decisions, team not good enough/entertaining enough, blah blah blah. I totally get all of that. But from his POV he thought he could get results quickly for a limited investment. Cash has clearly been sed away on (in many cases) the wrong things. The supply of cash is not infinite, you'd assume and whatever the reasons for the current position, we are where we are. I personally doubt he's got the appetite or resources now to pay off another coach and his entire staff and bring in an whole new set-up with more people who are better qualified with attendances now settled under 10k which is what people on here seem to be suggesting is a reasonable, practical and instantly deliverable piece of change.

Someone who thinks he can do a better job than Pearson, and has a figure in mind of how much he is willing to lose if it doesn't pan out that way. Without meaning to sound arrogant, we are not like most SL clubs. Whilst we are a shambles now, because of the fan base we are one of the few with the potential to at least self-sustain, if not make a small sum each year providing you run it right.
Pearson would not be able to get close to his money back, but if he really wanted/needed rid, he'd find a taker if he could swallow the loss.

Isn't Radford's contract up at the end of next season?
How expensive do we think he probably is? Because in all honesty, if it's a choice between the 2 I think it would be smarter investment to ditch one of or even all of these deals Tony has apparently lined up for next season and use the money to pay Radford off. I think we'd get more from a better coach with the same players than some better players under the same coach.

That old chestnut. If you are willing to pay the money you can have almost anyone you like, they all have a price.
Worst case scenario is we get one of several promising Championship coaches who would jump at a chance to come and who all have more ideas and experience than Radford.

| Quote: Mr. Zucchini Head "What, that people are driven by money?'" Well, I'm sure there must be hundreds, but I can't think of any respected head coach moving on mid-season to another club.
I'm sure you'll prove me wrong, but most change clubs at the end of their contract, or when they reach their sell by date.

I agree with you fully.
From AP's broader perspective gates are down say 1000 a game at £15 so £15k a game or £165k for the season. Say Radford's on £60k with a deal to November 2016 so in theory needs £90k to be paid out. There's quarter of a million quid unbudgeted shortfall - folk need to be realistic about the extent of change that can accommodated.

2 proven guys are available.. Matt Elliott & Mick Potter.. they would do a far better job than Radford.

Seriously you can't say they both wouldn't be an improvement on Radford?
As for you previous point. They wouldn't have to come right this moment. If it means getting the right man I'd be happy to wait until the end of the season with Horne taking the reigns until the end of the year. At least the fans would have something to look forward to and know that something is being done. The Agar days were bad, but I can't remember the general mood among fans ever being this bad.

1) Who said it was easy?
2) How many connections do you have in world rugby league?
3) Why are fans expected to know who is or isn't available?
4) Is it unreasonable to think that people involved in the game and at our club will have a bit more knowledge than us fans about who is available?
5) Do you think that Radford is the best coach we can possibly hope for? That we couldn't find anyone (not one person) better?
6) Almost everything worth doing is not easy if done right.
Things are not working. They aren't even getting better. It's not even as if we are doing ok, safe and sound but not great, we are in a relegation battle. The sensible thing to do in such circumstances (at least if you want things to improve) is to try something different. Sticking with things as they are is either defeatist or madness.
