Totally agree.

One of our better players this season and can cover other positions if needed although i do think prop is his best position.

Still young as well so time to improve further.

Would be delighted if this comes off, but clearly not done yet.

cant let the ginger ninja leave. Thompson has been a breath of fresh air since joining, just not getting enough game time.

I can't speak to his salary but I like Thompson. He loves the hard work and has a fierce step and loads of pace. That said we have a couple of youngsters coming through which the coaches might think are better prospects.

I have no idea about salaries and don't even want to guess, but purely based upon performances for us it would be very questionable if we got rid of Thompson in favour of Tuson.

Agree 100%. Lots of anti-Thompson posts before he even played a game and boy did he prove them wrong. Tuson to me has been a huge disappointment.

I think with Tuson, we have to give him time to find his feet etc. Not forgetting he didn't have a pre-season at all. He came back from injury and went straight into the side. I think we should give him time.

I didn't rate Thompson when we signed him but he's been excellent and I would be sorry to see him go. He's got 2 more years left on his contract so unless he gets a similar deal at another club a pay off will be needed.

Tuson has been a disappointment but hasn't really had a good run in the side due to injuries.

IMO its Green who needs to prove he's up to the job and justify being given the number 8 shirt at the start of the season. I know he's been injured since February but he didn't seem in much form before then.

Absolutely. I wasn't actually suggesting we get rid. All I'm saying is that if we are looking to offload a forward to make space for signings, it would be a tough call on Thompson if he was the one ahead of others who haven't played as well, notably Tuson.

I think thompson will be an outstanding prop in 3 or 4 years time but tuson will never be anything more than an average 2nd rower. There is a reason he left wigan and signed for wakefield. Big mistake if we let thompson go IMO unless he has been signed on crazy money and we can bring someone better in for the same money

I still cant understand why Thompson wasnt given a run out at centre when we were struggling in that position.He had a decent try scoring record at Cas and would have been worth playing him there imo
