Don't have a problem with the poore charge, he is a liability at times but if dropping someone on their head is a grade C then how can someone just get a caution for the same offence. I thought the EPG was there for a '1st offence' but guess not.
I'll go back to Westwood not even being mentioned and you can hardly state good behaviour on his part.

| Nightmare, must have been a fair call if he has done this.
Need Carvell back and Paea will be back for the cup game.

| The games against Cas and Widnes resulted in seventeen incidents being reported to the disciplinary committee. (ok 3 were for the same gentle tackle on Whiting.)
Something is going drastically wrong somewhere.

| As I said after the Paea charge I watched for any similar tackles over the weekend and not only were there loads of similar tackles there were several far worse ones and yet no charges made at all. The disciplinary process is an absolute joke. When you see the same or worse offences going unpunished you really have to call into question the integrity of the people making these decisions. At best they are incompetent fools and at worst they are bent.

| RFL strictly come dancing committee are massively inconsistent - got to believe it is incompetence rather than conspiracy, but we are seen as rebels now by RFL after voting against hetheringtons at restructure , and adams frank and honest comments about shambles at RFL over last year or so
but if you consider we were highest penalised side in SL for first 4 games perhaps we should consider the RFL citing committee were tasked to watch closely our last 2 games and found 17 instances worth following up - maybe our poor discipline early on cost us not just losses but also a target for RFL.
maybe we are a bit our own worst enemy when taking on the governing body
no paea and ellis as suspended makes radders job a little bit harder as these two are 100% effort and professional on and off field.
my honest belief is that we may have to suffer another season or 2 of mediocrity before the investment in youth brings us the halfback we have needed for 6 years to be a top 4 side. I know adam said mediocrity would not be a measure of success while he is at club but he maybe underestimated the mess and underinvestment he inherited and it took wigan year to turn around their structure to now relying on local talent.

I personally think this plan to rely on building a team based on local talent is a good one. I just hope the club and the fans have the stomach and patience to let it come to fruition. Unfortunately I can see performances like Sunday and the prospect of relegation seeing fans voting with their feet rather than sticking by the club through more mediocrity. Which would probably result in another change of tactics by AP.

| Quote: "Former Canterbury Bulldogs half-back Steve Mortimer believes reducing Rugby League’s 10-metre rule will lower the number of dangerous tackles in our game.
Mortimer claims 10 metres is too far and that ‘players are trying to buy time to get back the 10 metres in the defensive line, so they have tactics to have one going over the top and another to get the legs’.'" I give in.

Sadly, I'm rapidly drifting towards this view point. They've always been a bit questionable, but just looking at the incidents on Whiting (& Crooks) getting warnings and other players getting banned, or ignored totaly its becoming increasingly hard to see any other view. Its not like they have a split second and one view from a possibly questionable angle to make a decision, which can could possibly use as an excuse for a ref missing it.

| Can we just break off and form our own league so we aren't forced to watch the drivel that the RFL is slowly but surely turning this game in to anymore. It worked in 1895? :/
Or go all French Revolution on them and storm the Bastille (Red Hall).
It's beyond a joke.

| I have long held that view and its another reason why this sport is a joke amongst serious sports like RU and Football.
The whole sport sport does not speak with one voice for a start unlike every other sport RL is slipping further and further behind RU. It now commands an increase on tv deals and is growing we get the same deal until 2020+. The sport will struggle on, but its in decline the amateur game is shrinking as is the pro game.
Its a joke and I prefer RL to Union as a sport to watch, but things like this cancel it out.
