I don't think people need to panic, its disappointing but not the end of the world. With 2 or 3 quality signings this squad would be transformed IMO, Gentle can't really win though people complained we signed old players and now he is signing young talent people say his recruitment is poor.
Reality check youngsters will make mistakes, I am not defending the showing tonight by any means but the club has focused so much on future talent its going to take a while before it transpires in the first team unfortunately. TBF to Gentle also he has missed out on the majority of his first choices I:E Chase, Prince, Manu, Moa ect.

At times I actually wonder if you have to make a conscious effort to be as bad as we are. Seems hard to believe that professional rugby players can be so incapable of such basic stuff.

We do seem to lack some pretty basic skills. And under a succession of coaches, worryingly. |

Gentle clearly can't motive his side and that is the biggest issue, add in a string of mediocre signings, an an attacking game that is still dire...and we are heading backwards at an alarming rate. So far next seasons squad is weaker, and I am dreading it.
