| I've got a gut feeling that miller will have his arrival performance in the coming weeks along side horne or dj. and this will go a long way to finding our first choice half backs

| I think we need Horne in for the semi if nothing else just for his experience. Big headache.

| Anyone notice how Miller is being kept well out of the spotlight by the club ?
Has there been a feature interview with him in the media or Hull's own publications since his arrival ? Good policy IMO.
As I said earlier with all three fit then this year it would be Horne and Holdsworth for me because these two looked decent in the few games they played together. Miller will be a really good player I'm sure of it but looks as if he could just do with a solid pre season under his belt to prepare him properly. You have to take your hat off to the lad he's come straight in at a difficult time with the team on the back foot and really shown that he has the mental toughness to make it. He's made a few mistakes but not gone into his shell as a result which is a great sign that he has what it takes. I'm really looking forward to seeing him next year after a full off-season when he would become the natural first choice half.
On the other side of the coin for this year DJ has the best long kicking game we've seen at the club for years and years and he can influence games with it. Horney was simply superb before his injury creating and scoring tries. If all three are fit it would be these two for the remainder of this year for me but in all probability there'll be injury issues that force the selection hand in any case.

| For me its purely a battle between Miller and Horne.
Holdsworth has the best kicking game out of the three and should play every game if he is fit. To beat the top teams you need a top kicking game and DJ brings that.
When it comes to unlocking defences Horne has being the best so far this season and with Miller playing the least he is behind the other two on this front.
Would also have Horne has the better defender out of all three, but as a half back its not a deal breaker to get into the team.
Personally it all depends on the gameplan PG wants to play with but for the Semi I would go with DJ and Miller. Just as I believe it will be more beneficial to us in the long run. Although aslong as DJ plays Id go with either.

Along with Miller, there are pros and cons for all three but after the last few seasons how good is it to have a positive half back selection problem.

FFS, Smailes. He's used up the "timely boost" tag in this article, when it must be reserved for the run-up to either a derby or better still a Challenge Cup semi final. Where does he go now if Horne is fit? Peaked too early.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

He tweeted earlier saying Gentle has told him Friday will be too early for DJ but he will be back for the semi.

| I think miller could be the deciding factor against Wire, he's an unknown to them he reminds me of a young Sean Long, where as they would know Horne's game inside out by now. imho

| I like Miller he take the line on and that in itself makes defences wonder plus thise towering up and unders gives our guys time to get there and make a chance.
Miller and DJ for me, just think they will really play well together, Dj to get us upfield and Miller close to the line.

| Peter Gentle- "When we have Daniel Holdsworth or Richard Horne back it will help give Jacob more direction. The players are all still learning to play with Jacob and he's still learning to play with us. If we can get a settled spine it makes it easier, but no excuses, we know we need to be better in attack."
I think this says pretty much that the headache is who will play with Miller, not instead of him.
