Always going to make a few mistakes and I'm sure if you look back he will have made some in our favour also, he didn't give hudds a penalty until about the 60th minute, are we that disciplined?

The Shannon decision was infuriating. Our forward pass was fair enough in one sense. Annoying cos far side touchie calls it when near side was ok with it. huddersfields final pass for Wardle try was probably more forward.

It was Green at fault for the first one, not Galea. And Crooks for the second. Otherwise I thought the defence was mostly excellent.

Nobody relies on the ref to win us games. It'd be nice if they didn't contribute to us losing them though. But I did say a few posts ago that we need to get good enough to win despite dodgy officials, because they're all poor and not getting any better.

Bull that I'm afraid. You can't go away to the league leaders n have such a basic call as Shannon bringing the ball into play and getting a drop out against him. We don't concede a try there at a good point of game for us. Argument for a try before h t. The final pass for Wardle try is probably more forward than our ruled out try. On another day with some other inconsistent officiating there would be a big points swing. Officials make games a lottery.
