| Quote: Hutchie "Leeds have been probably the top club in the country consitantly for the last 10 years, what is it, 7 grand finals whic leads to World Club Challenges and 4 or 5 cup finals? Thats one hell of a reason for players to stay.
They have lost playes in the past, Morley, Newton, Chev Walker, Calderwood ?
Luke Burgess ans Gaz Ellis to the NRL of more recent times'"
Not to mention Saints losing Jammer to the NRL.

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

| doesn't some of wonderboy Tomkins' wage not count on the salary cap? Sure I read that somewhere.
Should be allowed for homegrown talent at all clubs imho, if it is true.
Alternatively, we could employ Briscoe's girlfriend as a receptionist for about £100k p/a

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

All clubs have the same entitlements.

This is correct.
Quote: the cal train "Should be allowed for homegrown talent at all clubs imho, if it is true.'"
It already is.
AFAIK, money is not the issue with Briscoe anyway.

| Quote: Hutchie "Agree and they have a production line to replace them, ie Ward to take over from Sinfield
Theyve also had the luxury of being able to release players who are/have gone onto be SL standard - Fox, Gale, Murell, Netherton, Carvell, Raynor, the list goes on, plus the likes of Diskin, Lee Smith, Scuton
Will be a big test for them in the next 2/3 years as they have to replace Peacock, Sinfield, McGuire and Burrow.'"
They need to sign to replace Peacock and Kylie. Ward is being lined up to replace one of other three as is Briscoe I think.

| Quote: PAUL M "Ellis and Morley are the ones I thought of, the others are hardly gonna hurt your club tbh.
Guess the difference is they don't have a reliance on one or two top players like we do. If we had more quality it would be less of a blow. The bright spot is Lineham, genuinely think he could be a star.'"
So what you're saying is, we're losing a top player but have another who might be just as good (or better) coming through the system to replace him? A bit like the top clubs do?

just found an article, it's only for clubs that produce England ETS and Knights players, is that all clubs anyways? What I was saying is it should be for young talent, at all clubs - obviously money won't be an issue for a few, probably most, of them but it would still make a difference.

| Hes a young kid, i dont think people realise how young at times dues to this being his 6th seaon in the first team.
He has flaws in his game, which players dont have
And if it dont work out, he would walk back into any SL team ,, i have no doubts on that

I agree with this Tom's a great player and when he returns they'll be an whole host of clubs wanting his services.
He's a massive loss to Hull but what a great oppportunity for him to test himself against the best, I've got no doubt he'll do himself proud and develop even more into a complete player.
