After Tom had fielded the ball and ran it back at the Cats defence Whiting was stood between the two Cats players and Tom ran through, can't understand how Roby got obstruction as the defence still had time move up and effect the tackle on Tom. Roby is a poor ref but isn't helped by the ineffective touch judges, watched their positioning when both teams were attacking and majority of time they weren't even in line with the play but stood several feet behind, no wonder so many forward passes are missed.

Indeed he did. He was in two minds and once he knew Tom would score he blew, odd!

Was anyone close enough to see the Catalan try that got called as held up over the line? Looked like he clearly had the ball down and slid well over before we got hands under the ball. People near also thought it was a try but obviously not unhappy with the decision.

i thought it was a try, was suprised to see the ref give the held up signal, both Tj and the in goal judge gave the no try to roby, guess it evened up the lineham try that was harshly ruled out imo

We were sat near to that incident. Was definitely no try, absolute wonder tackle from Briscoe. The strength he showed to keep the Cats player from grounding the ball was amazing.

I thought it was a try aswell.
