Vaikona. Worshiped him at the time and didn't speak to anyone for 24 hrs when he went to Bradford. When Joyce died (who worked in the portacabin at Boulevard and ran a supporters coach), I stood next to Vaikona at her funeral, and he had tears in his eyes. Top guy and was pretty much a one man team for us.

I used to go to Wembley 1980-85 with her and her husband on supporters trips to the Cumberland Hotel in Harrow on the Hill, had some great laughs, good memories. |

That's brought some great memories back, its wonderful to know folk still remember people like my mum who with all the other volunteers where the backbone of our great club.

he did go to work with taffy as a builder in Llanelli but thats many years ago now |
