No idea why NSW persist with Pearce at 7 ahead of Peter Wallace'"
Because Pearce is a lot better?
If he's purposefully kicked the ball out of Inglis' hands as you suggest, why no penalty try? It was a rank decision and there would be uproar about it if it had happened in one of our games.

| What a game.
Thought Gallen and Tamou were outstanding, however the Blues right edge defense, needs tidying up,
Uate was left isolated, twice for the Boyd tries.
Ref got a few calls wrong -IMO, the Bird tackle on Cronk, & I dont feel Farah played at the ball leading to the Inglis try.
Team selection, dont rate Pearce, maybe bring in Soward?
Cant wait for Origin 2.

| Sowards not a 7, Pearce had a good game his defence was very good.
Carney had a shocker, but I can't see Stuart changing much, maybe Buhrer.

Stuart has now conceded that it was a try by Inglis so why did the commentary team get it so wrong? Agree about there being minimum changes to the NSW squad for Game 2 which I will attend as a QLD supporter!

Do you believe him? Or do you think he's trying to get the refs on his die for the next two games?
The press conference i saw he refused to answer any questions on the refs.

Could be mind games now that the dust has settled. Harrigan the Ref's boss has given a concise explanation as to why a try should have been awarded but at the same time has criticised the on-field refs for a couple of "poor" decisions leading to the possibility that the refs could be changed in Game 2. For what it is worth I would have awarded a try and further predict that on last nights form NSW will win in Sydney.

| I must admit I didn't think it was a try and I don't think it would of been given if it was a SL game. In SL we tend to look for reasons not to award a try unlike Aus were they look for reasons to give it.

Even if Nsw win the 2nd game they won't win the 3rd.
The nrl commission has to do something about taking games out of state.

| Cracking game and I thought NSW were the better side, awful decision for the Inglis try and even harrigan said they VR got it wrong. Queensland got most of the 50/50 calls tbh.
Jennings & Hayne were great and Gallen is a machine. Tamau was impressive but the most disappointing players were the the halves, never ran the ball enough. I'd stick with them though, pointless continually changing the pivots. Farrah had a good game too but not sure on Merrin, Creagh and Burher.
Inglis, Thurston and Scott were good and Tate dragged a great performance out of the bag.
I hope NSW change the bench but leave the pivots alone, continuity is the way forward.

Carney was just to nervous imo, to drop Watmough for Creagh and Burher was madness.
Loved the Inglis/Morris battle.

Got to stick with him though, he'll get better. Watmough should have been in.
