I except the halfbacks, but the rest of team looks decent on paper and should be doing better, especially defensively, where they seem to score whenever they get near our line.

Injuries is no excuse! It is if people use it as one...
I spoke to my grandad this morning, he's a red and white *family is divided* and he said he's sick and tired of everyone he's spoke to going on about F.C'S injuries, he said what about Hull KRS at the beginning of the season, they still picked up points, and he's get a point, he also mentioned the start Huddersfield had this season despite missing a lot of first team players, yet they was top of the league.
The truth is that the only time an excuse should be made when there's injuries is involved, is when the players have put in a performance, got stuck in and tried/showed pride, and may have lost by 12 or 14, then you could say without the injuries and that little bit of added extra quality, they would have won that.
But no.... We are just getting blown away, and ain't even bloody trying for the pride of the shirt. FACT
As Dave K says, it's embarrassing.

| What exactly did some people expect with more than half our first choice 17 out and others playing less than 100% fit? A tight game with Wigan just shading it?
Really?

I don't believe this, and not sure how you know when you rarely see any games.
But I am disappointing with today's scoreline so far.

At least keep it close by halftime and them not scoring every time they get near our line would be a start.

| 2 of their tries quite jammy, but they're a clear 3-4 tries better in that half. We don't look anything like scoring either. Huge tonking on the cards but several players appear to be playing with injury, Martin definitely (took a head shot too, which won't have helped his neck) and McKinnon doesn't look right either. LOng 2nd half ahead but good to see some SL gametime for the younger players.

What you are seeing is what happens when a 'decent' side takes on one of the best in the league.
Too many unrealistic expectations on here, and overly optimistic assessments of our squad. When Gentle said we were 2 years behind Huddersfield did you think he was just having a laugh?

Agreed, and even when we get in to a good position with the ball in hand, we cough it up through unforced errors.
There's still Manu,Briscoe, Seymour, Radford, Tickle, Sharp, Lynch, Houghton, Mckinnon, whiting, moa out there.
All of them apart from Radford would be in our starting line up, so that's what... 10 players....
Of course we would have 2 half backs, and a better quality interchange, but bloody hell, there's enough experience on that field to put up a fight, instead of getting a drumming..
Professional rugby league players we are talking about...

Seymour isn't playing.
Manu has being busy house hunting in Liverpool.
And Briscoe thinks he's an NRL winger
And McKinnon is doing what he does best ie throw wild passes and drops the ball, just carrying on his West Tigers form.
