I'm not forgetting his games for us, I just have a much different view of them. He's never been in Whiting's class as far as I'm concerned, but to say he could have been 'our Sinfield' is just laughable.'"
Thats fair enough Rgx, just my opinion.
I know a few agreed with me, unfortunelny not Agar.

Agar obviously rates him to some extent as he's taken him to Wakey. As you say, it's about opinions, but mine is that Washbrook was always destined to end up where he is.

Now this I don't get, apart from his 2nd spell against Rovers what games has he influenced? He's been very, very good but not influential. Lynch, McKinnon & Houghton have been influential.

I've got to agree with this.
Whiting was a rock but he wasn't great, I even saw someone compere him to Jason Smith.

Again, I'd disagree. I think we look a better side when he's on the pitch. Some of his hits in defence alone have the capacity to lift the side and therefore influence the game. When he comes back for the last twenty, I think it gives us something extra.

To be fair, I think they likened his involvement in Yeaman's try to Jason Smith's style of play, rather than comparing the two as players.

| Whiting had a great game, stepped up the pack really well this season. Him and Aspinwall have done really well since Westerman got injured and between them offer a really good balance.
As for Washy, he was excellent for us at 13 when he burst onto the scene but unfortunately lost him way through a mixture of injuries and Agar.

He's here for the convention, just had a op so can't go.
Its a shame he's not debating Wallace so Aus could see what a scum bag he is.

Yeaman can lift the side with a big hit in defence. The biggest 2nd half influence on Friday was Seymour.
I certainly don't want to understate Rich's performances this season, he's been Excellent, but to say he's had an influence on the season is just wrong IMO. The 13 position has been handled excellently by Gentle, Aspinwall and Whiting have been on the pitch at the right time to suit the game at any particular phase.

I'm not talking about a single big hit, I'm talking about consistently having a positive impact in defence. That can be just as influencial as good attacking play - particularly in tight games like Bradford. I guess we'll never agree, but I do think his influence on the side is noticeable.

Christ, I forgot about Westy!
