Klein saved Leeds with that call on the dropped kick. If he'd got that right, it could have been very different.

Did well Leeds to hold on (with some artistic reffing!), but would be a scary prospect facing a Manly side in June when not still in pre-season. Bailey did well for the 4 minutes he was on then it got a bit tasty in the forwards.

Thought Leeds deserved the win through their second half goal line defence. Manly's handling and execution was poor - quite a lot of loose ball and they didn't seem as sharp as Leeds. Good game, especially 2nd half.

Seeing as Leeds have had 2 S/L games and Manley 1 hit out v Cronulla where the team only played 25mins what you expect.Was enough by Manly to show that if they had 2 full games then it would have been different.Would like to see it go down under for next yr and then see what happens.

It must be a pretty hollow victory for any English side to win this game. The odds are so massively in our favour that it's barely worth bothering. Leeds are the best side we have to offer, but you get the feeling if the boot was on the other foot, you'd need a calculator to keep up with Manly.

Hardly surprising though is it when it's still their pre-season. Was a good game, glad the English team won, just don't see the point in a game that gives one team a clear advantage. On a side note that pitch was a disgrace.

I would like to have seen Leeds playing Manly at Brookvale. The WCC in England in the coldest month of the year will always favour the English team.

It's not just the cold, either. There's the travel, the home advantage, the fact that they're still in pre-season.

End of the day it wont affect anything about our game as we will still get ted by the aussies in internationals.
