Quite why people seem to have a problem with the guy who was in charge of marketing trying to market the club is frankly beyond me. Clarkey doesn't get the same level of abuse and he was worse if anything.

FWIW, I have exactly the same opinion of Clarkey. He was paid to say what he said regardless of how wrong and how condescending to the fans it was. IMO, that makes him either a spineless puppet who'll say anything to keep his job or a misguided fool.
