Think this season is better TBH. His tries in 2006 were largely close-range efforts on the end of a killer pass from Cooke. This season he seems finally to have found a way to score without that service, and is also contributing more with his passing and all-round game.

I'm famously critical of Yeamo for lacking the skills to be a 'proper' centre but he's looking more the part now than at any previous time in his career IMO.

I've been mean about him in the past too. So glad he's proving me wrong.

Best English centre around at the moment IMO how him and Webster are not in the england squad i do not know.

agar has mentioned it before on radio but yeamo is a great role model to kids the same as horne with his diabetes

I'm epeleptic and have been for 30 years. I've played the game, run at a competetive level, weght train and drive. With the right medication there should be no reason why anyone should not be ableto live a complete life. There will be little set-backs like Yeamo had yesterday - I did last year but, once thats over with it's about not letting that set-back beat you nad get back on with it again. There are many different forms of epilepsy and it seems like Yeamo has 'Clonic-Tonic' or Grand-Mal' (not a drink) like I have. You feel absolutely crap for a couple of days then ok. I would'nt be surprised if Yeamo did'nt play this week as he will have lost a lot of strength but, the Doc's will I'm sure be monitoring that. All the best Kid.

How does a fit compare with concussion looking at the next game? Having to pass the head check with the docs, is there a comparison or are they totally different?

I would imagine they are different things, went to school with a couple of kids that had epilepsy and they would go years between seizures, as Agar has said, it's just the fatigue factor, I remember how hard it was to look after a friend at the age of 14 who was having a fit, can't imagine being able to keep someone the size of Yeaman safe!!!
