| My question is, was Obst injured when long went off for the sin binning?
If not why did Agar bring on a second rower as an interchange, when we had just had our main playmaker sent off the pitch for 10 mins and we where 8 points behind.
I haven't read all the threads so not sure if it's been mentioned anywhere else.

Thanks, but did we get a response as to if he was injured or not?
Just can't understand Agar's thinking that's all.
Not turning it into an Agar bitchfest, because I think we did ok last night and desperately p***ed off we didn't get the win.

10603.jpg Is it true that Richard Agar's favorite movie of all time is Groundhog Day or does he just generally like the same boring s**t day after day, season after season?:10603.jpg |

Long certainly did deserve to go, but Childs has to take the responsibility for it.
I don't care how experienced Long is, I can fully understand why he reacted like he did, although I am not saying it is acceptable.
Cas had been warned numerous times about headshots and grapple tackles, but nothing was done until Long himsef was clobberd not only late, but high by Aspinwall, Long retaliated and both players were sent to cool down for 10.
Then when Long returned to the field, he was almost decapitated on the Cas line, but again Mrs Childs chose to ignore it. At this point, the red mist had decended and Long took matteres into his own hands and lead with the elbow into the next tackle.
The red card was the right decision, but Mrs Childs performance was the major contribritory factor. Long actions were wholly wrong, but fully inderstandable under the circumstances imo.
If I was Hull FC, I would be editing the video now, highlighting the numerous head shots Cas were unpunished for and the umpteen decisions Child got totally wrong and plead a case for sending off sufficient for Long.

Every team could do that for every game, your point is ridiculous.
As for sending off sufficient, the fact that he intentionally led with the elbow pretty much as soon as he came out of the sin bin is deserving of a long ban. It was cowardly and malicious and to blame it all on the ref is a joke.

No, he lead with his elbow straight after having ANOTHER headshot on him go unpunished yet again by Childs.
Maybe Long just thought he would chance his arm (no pun intended) and see if he could get away with what others had been doing for the full game.

Not understandable to try and attack a young kids with his elbow whatsoever......cowardly act irrespective if he had been fouled earlier. it wasnt even emmitt involved was it ?

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| Didn't Tomkins get three games?
I'd expect the same.

And if he had broken Emmits jaw, would you have come to the same conclusion?

Spot on that for me...childs contributed massively to not just this incident but most of the scuffles that happened last night..both set of players were obviously frustrated by his performance..
