I think 8-10 points in it either way, if we turn up we can win but who knows which side will turn up.
Chase is a threat to every side in the league.

Local players will always give more to their club and that's a fact. That's the reason not 'incompetence'. That said I love Cas Hull games and follow FC as my 2nd team so i wont take no cheap shots. Let the best side win.'"
Mate, I was complementing your club for making the most of their limited financial situation and complaining that our club are incapable of taking advantage of their own situation. It is incompetence on the part of my club I'm afraid .
And transfer fees don't count on the cap

No real point, I was just taken aback that you've finally come off the fence and made a real statement.
So SHOULD we be winning games away at the likes of quins or SHOULD we be applauding their efforts when they do as it's something we wouldn't expect?

You obviously don't read my posts.
We should always applaud winning a game, sport in unpredictable. Quins would expect to beat sides like us at their place. You can never just expect to go away from home and win.
It all depends on ambition really along with other factors like injuries. Rovers would expect to beat Salford away but never and injuries probably had a bit to do with that. Circumstances change from week to week.

I think that is the biggest factor. Time and again we have seen a good or spirited performance followed by an awful one.

Just looking at the highlights of Cas's match this weekend www.superleaguefans.com/videos/ (If link is no good please remove mods)
Biggest worry for me is the speed with which they ship it to the wing. I think our best bet is to try and draw them into a forward battle. Some quality tries in the highlights and very few "barge overs".

In fairness though most teams are battering Crusaders every week.

Trouble is, we're also good at the forward battles too (i.e. Catalans, Huddersfield). Bradford was where we came unstuck but even then we still had opportunities to win it.

From a Hull perspective a forward battle is something we can usually do well. It is when teams spread the ball about and with pace that we struggle. Will be a real test for the wingers/centres on friday. Think we will be hoping for rain

Think you'll find that's applicable to most teams. The way we are playing at the minute, who knows what to expect, we coped with Wigan very well and then could not finish against Wakey, quins game was different again, good and bad. All i can say is don't put any money on the outcome of our games at the moment!!

Don't know where you've got that from. Terribly poor defence from Crusaders all game.

Suppose We'll see on Friday. You sound a little bitter my friend . To be fair we are 2nd through playing good rugby, albeit against some poor teams. The big improvement is the ability to defend for long periods, especially on our own line. Should be a good night
