It's certainly cliched, but we get cliched posts on here from real people all the time. It's also so rambling that it just strikes me as genuine. As for not using a real person's name, why doesn't everyone on here use their real name? I know of a couple who even have their forum usernames on their shirts.

Anyway - since it seems to be exercising folk so much maybe FC Voices could raise the question with the club. It's not like we have anything more important to worry about.

It would be more believable if it wasn't an attempt to counter pretty much every criticism which has been on here for the last 3 weeks

It's the club's official website what do you expect?
If you go onto the website of any other business they will also try and sell themselves. They're not going to say "We provide service X but to be honest we're not actually very good" are they?

Just after 14 minutes on the U20's video when we go in for the second try anybody else hear the 'you will have it coached out of you soon' comment

Love the bit in Ogre's Blog about sending Phelps the "PLAY BOOK",Should be an easy read.I sincerely hope they took appropriate precautions regarding security,I mean we wouldn't want all the other teams knowing how we play,!! Oh Er Hang on a mo.

I actually think the new site is very good and is probably amongst the best in Super League. But as we all know, 'off the field' aren't where our major problems lie - our 'off the field stuff' is generally very good. For what it's worth I think the club should be congratulated on the new site, although I'm not too sure about the fans blog thingy. I've always thought that columns/blogs from fans belong in or on fanzine websites where they can actually be slightly critical.

The one problem with the new site for me that will hopefully get sorted in the next few weeks is not having commentry on the FCTV highlights. I know I can see what's going on but it just helps if there's someone commentating on it, especially since Clarkey's done some in the past.

Other than that very impressed with the new site.

Oh, I understand, it would just be nice to have the commentary with the pictures.

Will still be watching the highlights on there though.
