Didn't know that, a bit before my time.
I do find it bizarre that anyone can say they'd rather put up with Rovers fans crowing for the next gazillion years about winning the league than have to endure FC losing one league game. |

1981-82.
We needed to beat Widnes at home and required Rovers to win at Leigh. We won but so did Leigh.
IIRC our game finished some time before the Leigh game and many fans stayed at The Boulevard to hear the score from Leigh.
Cost us the double that season. |

W.T.F. does where you live have to do with anything?
I am 100% Hull,didn`t realise I have to buy a house there to be a "true fan."
And yes ,I could put up with Rovers supporters crowing,thats nowt new.
