Yea thats my point. He needs to play the first and last 30 minutes. He does not make enough impact with ball in hand to play prop. What he does is the dog work to get the team moving. Intresting stat is that Radford is our biggest yard maker per carry so far this season with 6.8m per carry. Fitz is at 5.4m per carry.

| Quote: Adam - Mac "I just can't see the logic in not starting Fitz. I agree that he needs to be spelled, but don't understand why people think he is a prop.He has never played prop in the NRL, so why would he become a prop now. He used to play 2nd row but has lost his pace now, so he plays 13 because of his work ethic and ability to lead by example. Playing 13 allows him to play in the middle and not on the edge like 2nd rows do. Also he is the captain so why have him on the bench if he is fit.'"
Fitz revived his career in the NRL by playing prop and even got a recall to the NSW side on the back of it and played prop for them too I believe. Watch the Leeds and Rovers games, he passes the ball 2/3 times in total. All he does is get the ball and run down the middle and tackles everything that moves. He and Ogre are our two best props so one of them should be on the field at all times. Having Fitz coming on (around the 20 min mark) with Moa is a perfect combination. People say we drop once Ogre goes off, not with Fitz coming on we won't. Plus Fitz could then sty on for the rest of the game and we could use Moa is shorter/sharper spells and utitlise Ogre better too.
Plsu Fitz would burn out less and be less likely to pick up injuries.

But by playing less minutes he would have more energy on his carries and could then make more yards possibly.

Fitz has more of an impact at prop then Dowes does.
He would also get more out of his carries if he was spelled.

| As said before Fitz could play the Graham style prop for us.
But i'd start with Fitz and Shrek at props for sure.

Out of all the combos i'd have Westerman and Obst.
Long has been rubbish for most of his time at Hull and Horne was passed it last year never mind now.

Disagree'd. Think Long has been doing alright this season, he will get better with more game time. Horney isn't passed it, infact he was putting in some great displays last season before he was out. Westy is a 13, should be avoided from the halves while there are others who can play there.

Ideally have Westerman at 13 but unfortunatley we don't have a 6 and Westerman looked good when he went into a pivotal role on Friday.
I know Long likes to drift in and out of games but i didnt even know he was playing against Leeds and he didn't direct the team around against Rovers and he didnt do that much at all last year.
We'll have to agree to disagree with regards to Horne, imo you can stick a fork in him.
