Its good that talks have started now. Hopefully an extension can be agreed quickly or if it becomes apparent a deal will not be possible we can look for someone else to fill his spot.

Sounds more promisingFitzgibbon has been recently linked with a return to Sydney Roosters, the NRL side he left last winter to take up a one-year deal in East Yorkshire.
However, the hardened forward insists he would like to re-sign with Richard Agar's men in 2011.
"I had a meeting with (chief executive) Jimmy Rule last week," said Fitzgibbon, who has scored five tries in 11 appearances so far and brought real solidity and strength to Hull's pack.
"I really like the area, the boys, the club and working with the coach.
"I've enjoyed it all and hopefully we can get something sorted and worked out without it dragging on too long."'"

Can this night get any better!
He is simply a fantastic player and leader. Everything he does is purposeful and to the max. Even daft things like coming out for the second half and we sort of trudged out, as you do when you are gettin beat up on the scoreboard, but not Fitz, he bombed onto the pitch past everyone like it was his first ever game.
