Quote: berrigans bitch "He will not bin it, he is answerable, if he is inundated with complaints he will have to raise the issue with the relevant bodies as part of his own accountability..
Not sure what good it will do at this point, the major factor will be results, I believe he has about 8/10 matches until the serious pressure kicks in..However if things do not improve Rich will resign before the board act or have to act..'"

Problem in more ways than one is that the cast iron excuse of injuries is back. We all know this is a red herring, but it just affords another season of protection to Agar.

Quote: Mrs Barista "In all seriousness, and leaving aside the hypothesis that the board employ him because he's cheap and their only motivation is profitability (which I don't subscribe to) what do we think this reason is? What are they seeing that merits a total contract of 4 and a half years? What is he delivering behind the scenes that we are not aware of? Kath's been around the game long enough surely to recognise coaching excellence, surely?'"

You'd hope so, unfortunately for Richard this is a results business, the customers, by and large, don't give a monkies what is going on other than league position and performances, sometimes friendships cloud professional objectivity, I've seen it many times.

All most of us want is the best for Hull FC, and I am afraid Richard Agar is not in that category, but we'll be stuck for another two years at least.

Agar will not walk, he cannot afford to.

No I believe he will walk (however I am sure some-thing would be set up in the back ground which is usually the case to save face for all concerned, so I doubt he will lose out to much financially)

Was speaking to some-one attached at the club yesterday the thin ice is starting to appear contract or no contract icon_wink.gif

Apart from that Fitz (not him btw) was there giving out trophies to the younger ones (Gutted not our age group)...not too shabby though.. icon_heartkiss.gif

The problem is the "thin ice" is with people who are not the power brokers at the club.

Believe me it is thin ice with the people who count, like I say I believe 8/10 matches, we will see what transpires.

Most of the next 8/10 games are against opposition we should be winning ,starting with Wakefield on Friday, Then Quins , Catalans , Cas ,Saints , Salford Hudds and the Dragons again.

TBH I think we will do well, the fact is the players think very very highly of Rich.

Dennis Moore came to Hull on the back of being assistant to the then NRL champions, Manly. It will have taken a fair wedge to lure him from assisting near to Manly beach to the assisting near the river Humber.

If you combine the collective salaries of both Agar and Moore i would imagine you have a healthy sum, enough to procure a top coach. So i don't think Hull do it cheap per se - they just do it wrong, very wrong.

Quote: Tongan Mafia "Dear James

Could you please tell me who decided to give Richard Agar another two year contract please. He hasnt done anything in his time at the club to warrant an extension. We have the most passholders in superleague and a nice stadium and grade A license as well as making a profit.

And how do you thank the fans by given us another poor poor coach for another two years. You say everyone has a different opinion and that is a fair point but I challege you to send a survey out asking ALL the passholders how they feel about having Agar in charge for another two years.

I tell you now it wont be pretty reading James. If you really care about the Old faithfull you would go out there and get a top class coach and dont insult us with the cheap and cheerful option of your best mate Agar.

He told us that players would be picked on form but Moa not picked against leeds even though he was yet again the best player on the pitch the week before. Turner has linked up well with horne in the halves before, but he goes with Washbrook and Horne what has never worked. These are mistakes a rookie coach would make at amateur level not at super league. Look at Nathan Brown and Maguire in there short stints at Huddersfield and Wigan. And maguire with someone elses team, we are out at the first hurdle of the challenge cup AGAIN what cost the club money as well. When I got home and watched it on tv again I couldnt believe what I saw. At half time on the tv it went into the Hull dressing room to see Agar with his hands in his pockets looking lost and the players just moping around what an embarrasment. Then there was also the booing from Hull fans when Richard agar came on the screen. For the loyal fans to start doing that should tell you we have had enough. And I for one and my family will not be renewing our passes next season while this man is in charge.

It upsets me like many Hull fans to have to send stuff like this as we want to be able to cheer our team on knowing when they get beat its because the other team was better on the day. Not bcause the coach hasnt got a clue.

Final point James is if you believe in Richard so much would you resign if he doesnt win anything in his two years?

All the best for the future

Lee'"

Send it to the other Jimmy. He used to have a track record for fixing things.

Howz about that then!

But, again, what is it specifically that the board and players see that is so fantastic? Motivational skills? Tactical genius? Consistency? Delivering the maximum out of available resources week in week out? I'm at a loss to understand what precisely this excellence that Agar displays is within the "circle of trust" at the KC that none of us 13,000 fans are privy to.

I was told that Agar is the attack coach, and Moore is the defense coach.

Since Agar joined the club, all the defense coaches, have all departed.

Kear
Peter Sharp
Jon Sharp.

In all this time, our inherent problem is,we have no clue in attack.

Why hasnt the attack coach, been sacked??
