It is long ago, and that is the problem, some people are prepared to forgive too much.

I didn't think Steve Jordan was that bad, nobody can touch Martin for his enthusiasm...but at least Steve was professional and audible. This new one is awful. Hearing the team read out is the bare minimum of what you should get at a sports ground.

as someone else said, its yes another example of FC picking the wrong people.

I do think the whole pre-match thing needs a revamp though, the whole introducing the stands thing is getting a bit old now (at City and FC)

Well Its raining and so decided to wade through this thread which following reading the title I have avoided so far. I have to say that Rosey has a lot to learn, when it comes to following in the boots of The late great martin Hainstock and even Steve Jordan who did a good job, however in fairness she is getting better.

However I am amazed, although I know by now I should not be, that we now have her Fcaebook and work contacts upm on this site so that no doubt some fans can contact her personally to voice their feelings about her! I think if anyone is being abusive or used these addresses etc to be so then you should be ashamed of yourselves. I agree that the players and club should get slow hand claps, bo's and what have you if you feel the the players are not performing. I don't do it but I defend the right of supporters to do so if they wish they pays their money....I do however sincereley hope that we are not now turning our on line abuse to this young radio presenter who is doing her best.

Perhaps the first port of call for the 'supporters' who want to complain about her should be the club who appointed her. I guess that IF she is now receiving abuse via her personal Face Book and E Mail then she is likely to be upset and telling all and sundry about it. These things spread like wild fire. Thus once again the actions of the few will tarnish the good name of all FC supporters in general as the word gets round about this.

Just of course my point of view, reading this thread, but as an asside I have mentioned my opinions of the quality of her announcing to the club and FC Voices have passed on comments from fans about it! That is where the critism should be aimed not at the individual in question who is only doing what she was appointed to do!

You're right in that it would be completely out of order for anyone to send this woman abuse to her facebook and email accounts and I'm certainly not condoning that. I don't see any problem however with simply providing her with a link to this thread, everyone recieves feedback about their job and this is no different. When her level of incompetance means that the majority of the crowd are oblivious to our long-awaited star signing being introduced I think we're entitled to let her know about it.

Just goes to prove how ignorant and plain thick some fans are, were proof needed.

I am not saying anyone has done anything untoward, however posting links like that on here really do invite trouble! Just my opinion!

I've got to take some responsibility as I raised this issue in the first place, however let me ask this: If I were someone who wished to drink at the stadium prior to a match and was unhappy about the standard of beer on offer (as I know many people are) would it be unreasonable or 'ignorant and plain thick' of me to try and find the stadium catering manager's email address so I could let him know what I think?

She'd still get it though.....
