What's he going to threaten us with? "Give our kid a contract or I'll start playing poorly"?

he defended well, but all life gets sucked out of any attack as soon as he touches the ball and plods slowly into the tackle. We need a loose forward who can offer much more than just 'graft' good players can graft and be an attacking threat.

He shouldn't be beating a prop when that prop gets two hands to him and a bit of shoulder contact. I wouldn't mind so much if he'd have been run around. That's fair enough, he obviously doesn't have the pace to prevent that. But when he gets as much contact as you could possibly wish for and gets ran through by someone, almost literally, half his size, that isn't good.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

The all too short come back inteh second half doesn't even start to paper over the cracks of another woeful defencive display.
Singling out Graeme Horne is nothing short of scandalous. Hulls defencive line is too tightly set in the middle of the pitch which means a desparate scramble as the opposition throw the ball wide (which virtually all other SL teams do with speed and accuracy, something we appear unable to do). Its no coinsidence that we let tries in on the corners with such frequency which there is hardly any cover out wide.
But of course, to some Graeme Horne is an easy scape goat.
Well, as I have said a few times in the recent past, Kirk Yeaman needs to be dropped. If any one player cost up time and again it was him. 4 times last night he shot out of the line to miss his man, 3 of which ended up in tries within 2 play the balls. On another 3 occasions he couldn't accurately pass to his winger for what would have been straight forward chances. The one break he does make, after Manu put in in the gap, he proved he doesn't have the pace to convert then and makes it that bleeding obvious what he would going to do that the chance went begging.
Yeaman, Not fast enough, cannot pass, cannot draw a defender, misses too many tackle jumping out of the line. DROP HIM.'"
Raynor could have helped G.Horne a bit more but his decision making and execution of the tackle on Senior was "scandalous" and cost us 3 trys in the first 15 minutes.

More like Broughton not reading the sodding play...Yeaman got a pearler of a pass off Whting and he had his pass away in 1 go and Broughton mis-read it.....

Didnt say he didnt. I simply defended the logic of why Horne went straight back in. FWIW i'd have played Whiting at 13 last night but we know Agar wont do that.

Broughton was in the right position, it was just a e pass.
Yeamans problem for some time has been his inability to pass to his wing man. Raynor could easily of had 50 more tries to his name as a Hull player had Yeaman passed to him over the years. But as yesterday yet again illustrated, perhaps the reason Yeaman doesn't pass so often is because is never looks to who his is passing to and, as last night showed, the ball goes into touch and not the wingers bread basket.

Fook me mate
Yeaman made on mistake and that was coming in off his line for the Gibson try, that said he did so as there was a huge overlap due the defence inside him.
Graeme Horne was constantly out of place in defence and seemed intimidated by Senior for most of the game.

I said to my dad yesterday that I think he's in some of the best form of his career. I've never seen him put his winger in so often as he has done this year. I wonder if it's actually a side effect of getting older, i.e. he no longer has the legs to constantly go himself like he used to.
Also in this thread, I'd just like to see if I've got this right. Just to be clear then, missing a tackle 2-3 tackles earlier in the count makes a player singularly responsible for conceding tries in that set of 6, but being the man who is ghosted past for the final break before the opposition cross the line holds no culpability whatsoever?
