Seriously the halves need to attack the line more and then turn for the support players. We went across and backwards to much from first and second receiver. FFS Thorman lost the ball with no one near him whilst doing exactly that.

Reading through this thread, can I take it that Thorman's short-lived renaissance following the Leeds debacle is well and truly over?

He was poor again last night, in fact I can't believe he wasn't subbed earlier than he was. He literally runs into the players he's passing too. I did notice last night on one last tackle play, he put in a kick which went straight to Whilshire and Berrigan just looked at him with total disbelief at what he'd done. |

Bloody hell I'd forgotten about that dismal effort. TBH I don't know why we bother with penalty kicks to touch anymore we might as well just take a tap. Thorman must have his own personel micro climate because he always appears to be playing into a gale force wind. |

Thorman's kicking was alright but his and Richard Horne's passing game is shocking they jsut can't pass it with any pace and it took Berro to come on and put someone through the gap.
To be fair to both of them (Horne and Thorman) they looked to get involved a lot more this week and atleast we looked like we had some attacking structure however they where far too deep and we still struggle to hit players with pace, the amount of times someone got the ball while standing still was shocking.
A very very long way to go and to, too many average players in a team with very average half backs.

I think I remember that one. I thought DDD had just messed up as usual when he said we were re-starting on the 30m line after a penalty.  |

easily done....I once managed to slice a penalty on our 20 back 10 metres...one of our props (who had to cart the ball back out) called me, amongst other things, a useless c***! |
