Thorman has to be the worst number 7 to pull on the jersey. And we've had some tripe!!! Wayne Portlock, Shane Endacott to name a couple but we have had a decent 7 since Patrick Entat and a good 6 since Greg Mackay.



Today we only had 2 attacks in the Warrington 40 in the 2nd half because Thorman constantly kicked straight to the winger giving them the ball from half way.

He brings absolutely nothing to the team, i dont think iv seen him chip it over top or do a miss out ball all season, and all he does is kick it straight down the fullback/wingers throat he needs to go but Agar and Co. dont have the minerals to do it, if he isnt gone by the end of the season he will get an extension, Pathetic.

Whether it's confidence or what I don't know but I said last week he should have been dropped. Not playing to the required standard and has failed to offer either the kicking game or leadership and organisation we were promised. Passing poor. We should have stuck with Webster for a year simple as that.

jon sharpe signed luke robinson to play scrum half for 2008 so thorman moved to full back because he wasnt good enough



so how come 1 year later he is suddenly good enough to play there for us

What gets me is that Hall was dropped for playing crap but this sack of $hite of a scrum half still plays despite being the worse scrum half we have had in years...he needs to be dropped...simple as.

Agree get Horne back to SO. I'd go with Berro or even prefer Lee to Thorman.

Thing is id be tempted to leave Horne there as he is looking damn good.

He has done all asked of him as you would expect from one of the few quality players at the club. However with Washbrook out we need him at 6 I think.

Washy is a 13 having to fill in.....agree about having to move him and i would bring Hall in for Whiting and play Whiting at 13.

Sorry to upset the Horne fan club (and I love the kid) but he's not good enough to play half back. He cannot dictate a game ball in hand and only comes into his own in broken field. He has to be full back or centre. For this season though I would put Berro at scrum half and Horne at 6. Houghton a full 80 at 9. Far quicker than Lee at the play the ball.

That was the decision , Not the player.

I agree with that and it makes it even more confusing to me why his kick returns are so poor.

the thing with richard horne is that he is the best player in 4 or 5 positions so its hard to find the best place for him to play

Exactly what I said earlier in this thread, if thorman isn't dropped it's complete double standards, hall should be pointing this out!

Its only hard to find his best position when theres crap playing in the other pivitol positions. He looked ok at scrum half because Jason Smith ran the show. He'd be fantastic at full back behind Long and Pryce.



If he played for Saints, like Wellens, he'd look great being put into space by Long's passes or returning the ball on his own forty.
