| Protest outside the stadium would get a message across, but are we in that much trouble to protest against our own club?

I think we are, the club just think we are so loyal that we will accept anything
luckily for them we don't have a home game for so long that they avoid any protest, as surely even this dumb board wouldn't keep Agar after another 2 defeats?
I bet they are praying to every religion known to man this weekend in the hope that Crocker and Lakauki have VISA's in the post tommorow, as that will distract the fans for a bit longer.

| Given some of the e spouted on here and at the matches I am glad the fans are not heard
Even when we had HISA it carried no clout unfortunately.

| So HISA reforms and arrange a meeting with JR & KH. What do they tell them.?
We the fans ( well half a dozen of us out of 14000 regular watchers) feel that your recruitment of coaches is poor.
KH ..... Well thats interesting as we feel they are doing a reasonable job at the moment.
OH....... Well we don't says HISA.
Also player recruitment you have not signed a decent player in ages that we like.
KH.... Will then point to all the internationals in the squad.
End of meeting totally pointless.
OK I know some on here don't see it, but JR is there to run a business on behalf of the ones who pump the cash into saving the club. As a business HULL FC LTD is probably the best in the country. Great off field activities. Community work that is recognsed as the best in the country not just in RL circles.
So Mr Rule is I am afraid to tell some of you, doing a great job according to his working requirements. I think it would be fare to say he does not know alot about RL as a whole, but business wise he is doing a great job.
Our big problem though is the coaching set up. It does not need wholesale sackings it just needs a strong DOR. Similar to what Wire have woken up and done. They have done that without sacking coaches. Agar stated at the end of last season that players would be shipped out. He was unable to do this. We now have a squad riddled with billy basic players who know that Agar wants them out. That coupled with injuries means we have no competition for places and some no doubt have no desire to suceed at Hull as they know they are out the door soon. This in turn is picked up on by those with desire and we have a situation were we have a divided squad.
Solution would be to start off loading now, like Smith is doing at Wire. Failing that drop the ones with no desire and make do with kids. Hell either way we will lose, but we as fans may see some desire.
As for FC Voices they do represent the fans, but in a way to make their enjoyment of following Hull FC better. They are not there to beat the board up with, like HISA.
They speak with the transport companies re travel to and from matches. As seen with the possible stopping of trains in Hessle / Brough on Friday's after matches.
They speak with the SMC about issues in the stadium.
They arrange a fans forum. Though I don't know what people expect to achieve at these.
They have had a big part to play in the junior supporters club foundation.
They are not there to fall out with the club, and were also not set up by the club as yes men.
I am sure if you read the match programme you would get an understanding of their work, much of which is probably unnoticed by angry fans who simply want a rant without forthought.

| FC Voices aren't the type of group that would satisfy what the fans want at the moment (which seems to be making their dissatisfaction heard). Obviously the group is very useful but in a different way. It's a liason group and the sooner the fans actually see that the better.
HISA is the closest type of group (although it's involvement is non-existant basically) to what the fans would seem to use at the moment.
Whether the club will speak to a group or not is irrelevant. I've always thought that a group should be set up similar to HISA where, in times like this, they can hold meetings with members and note what the majority of feelings within the group are. They then take this to the media: radio, local TV and local/rugby press. The media these days are always looking for something negative I guess, and I'm sure stories of supporters (no matter how large or small the member base is) being dissatisfied and getting their message across would be given time/inches. This would put pressure on the board imo and its something that I wish HISA would have been turned into when the club stopped talking to them

| I hope that you will bear with me whilst I try and clarify a few points here:-
The difference between Fc Voices and Hisa is significant.
FC Voices take individual queries from fans and get them answers (whether they are what they want to hear or not) from the club, transport Companies, the Police, the Stadium Management Company etc. No one who has ever approached FC Voices has not had a reply from the group and an answer regarding their persuit of a matter.
They are there as the poster said above to help the fans get the most out of supporting Hull FC. They regulaly meet with the club and if they are looking for examples of what they can do, well it is unlikely that the club would now be running a Kids Club if it was not for FC Voices approaching them about it and members of the group working with the club to get it started. Membership opportunities with the group are widely advertised and the current members of the group are appointed and stand down on a regular basis, but it is not a membership organisation.
An independant supporters club could do all that as well, but the difference is that it would do much more because it would have a mandate from fee paying members and would have to represent its members views. That is the difference really, it has a chairman who would act with a mandate from his memebers.
If an independant supporters club has say 4000 members then the club would have to sit up and listen. However If I remember rightly as an ex member of Hisa it was ok when everyone was galvanised behind a major problem like, David Lloyd and his plans to liquidate the club, and remember if it were not for a few of the original committee members of Hisa who met with Shaun Richardson all those years ago we would not have a club now!!!!! That is a fact!
But when there is something like for instance playing on Friday nights where a memebership could be split, it becomes more difficult. Votes would have to be taken etc.
If some of the folks on here who shout loud and long about taking the club to task, but actually do nowt but hide behind their computers, want to do something positive they should get off their back sides, approach the present incumbants of HISA, who because of happening in the past are obviously not really in a position to continue with it, take it over and get Hisa up and running again. I for one would be pleased to join!

That's the problem though Karl, when push comes to shove people won't/can't mke the necessary comittment.
Anyway, the club don't give a toss, if HISA had 4,000 members they'dstill say it's less than 50% of the average attendance".
