Look. I am getting really sick of fans saying it is an over reaction to a Derby defeat.

In fact EVERY week when we complain about the lack of effort someone says we are over reacting.

Do you not remember last season?

Do you not remember the embarrassing Derby defeat 2 seasons ago when yet again our players gave up?

Do you not realise Rovers have won more Derby games since reaching Superleague than us? Five years ago you would have been laughed at if you said this would be the case. If you are happy with that then carry on.

Do you not remember the previous 2 pathetic performances against Harlequins and Salford.

Amazing lack of passion from players wearing the black and white irregular hoop shirts and i for one am not happy about that.

I can take defeat. I used to travel ALL over following FC when we could never win an away game.

But i can't take lack of commitment and the schoolboy errors our team makes because they can't be bothered.

It's a boll0cks argument anyway. Yes, of course there are people in Zimbabwe dying of cholera, there are indigenous tribes in the rainforests having their homes destoyed by illegal loggers and some Somali women have been raped as an act of war. But this forum isn't set up to discuss the world's problems and grade them in order of how serious they are - it's here solely to discuss rugby league.

So if people are moaning about problems to do with rugby league, it's not because they think those problems are worse than any other, it's because that's what the bloody forum is for.


Back on topic, I agree with you totally.

I'm not jerking my knee. I'm not over reacting. I'm fed up of paying good, hard-earned money to see players not putting in anywhere near the effort they are capable of. I'll pay to see Hull FC lose all season long if they're trying their hardest and playing with a bit of passion.

What I can't stand to see is players not moving up in defence, not chasing kicks, not running off the ball, making little effort to get back behind the ball after it has been kicked downfield to us, and only applying themselves for between 10 and 20 minutes a game.

RL is more serious than anything youve mentioned there

The original poster has a point, yes we have issues that need to be sorted and the season s startign to take a downward spiral but the overreaction over the weekend is unbelievable.

How long have you been reading this forum again?

Not just this weekend Paul, think it may be a final straw for some though and rightly so if thats how they feel.
