Un-used is past tense.
Therefore you can only use the tickets which haven't been used, not ones that aren't going to be used.

What I have a problem with is the club taking credit for other people donating to charity.
I see the headlines now "Hull donate £15000 to Comic Relief" without actually donating a penny.
Any organisation worth its salt would match what the public raised.
Any fool can donate with someone else's money
Have to agree, the £1 for charity isn't the issue but its not a donation, if you want to buy a ticket you are forced to pay the £1, whether you want to donate to the charity or not.
A more generous offer from the club would have been to donate £1 per ticket sold rather then make the fans pay £1 extra
The other thing is can the club legally do this?? Can they just decide to add money to the ticket prices as and when they like to raise money for charity??

Firstly I do agree with you, it should be voluntary.
Legally, I would have thought that the club could charge what they want. THey are just letting people know a pound of it would be going to charity.
Like I siad earlier, they should have kept it quiet and simply charged £30 for the north stand,.
Happy days and new eye patch for Pudsey

| I have a ticket available, due to a mate now having to work Good Friday.
It's an East Stand Unreserved student ticket, £18.
I live in Leeds, so it'd be easier to sell it to someone over here (I know afew post on here). Just PM me if interested.
Cheers.

On the legal issue the club can chose what ever they want to charge for a game. They should have either offered an opt out for the quid or just said tickets have gone up £1 and by the way there will be a donation made to Children in Need. We could have made as much money if we put the NOrth Stand tickets up by the same % that the Dobbins put their South end Tickets up when we go there!!

Whilst I don't mind paying the extra £1 I do think it's wrong. Fans are being forced to pay when it should have been their choice. A bucket collection would have been much better.

Why? It means the club going to the extent of getting people to do the collection and things.. whereas if they just add it on.. more money guaranteed.. and its no messing about! Easy £20k plus... =)

We don't increase the ticket prices though, we merely put them back to 100%! Why is that so hard to understand?!
