I disagree. At least with Miller there's the chance that he will get better as he gains experience. Gale is just average and always will be.

| Who has Gale played for? London and Bradford?
Why would a team with top 4 aspirations be interested in him?
As other have said, Miller is not good enough now but may be one day. Gale never will. I would be very, very disappointed if we signed him.

| Gale showed promise when he was younger and I thought he would mature into an outstanding halfback, however he hasn't.

You came out with the following the other day in repsonse to a comment I made about Dobson/Campese or Lualuai improving us yet you'd take Gale!!! So Gale would take us to the top 4? Challenging for the Grand Final/CC?
Quote: Sebasteeno "Typical FC fan. Ill take him as hes better without any thought of long term progress. Will Dobson take us to top eight - yes. Top four - no! Challenging for either Grand final or CC - No!
Has to be Campese for me. Don't want to see that rovers reject/lower sl journeyman who cant get a game in the nrl anywhere near us'"

Don't care what you say. He won't and I doubt he's coming.

| The harsh truth is neither Miller or Rankin are good enough (Rankin may be at FB but never in the halves).
Miller should have ran riot against London, our pack were miles on top and yet he did absolutely nothing. Seriously.
I like the kid, he gives everything (ulike others) but he doesn't have what it takes to be a 7. I'll be amazed if he's here next year.
Widnes's halfbacks tomorrow are streets ahead of ours unfortunately.

I'm sure he'd be fine - another in the long list of not good enough/average/injury prone halfs at the club. Seriously, I'd take gale as a back up option but we really need better of we're going to secure a top 8 finish

I used to hold onto that with Tommy Lee as a halfback at FC. I really wanted it to work out for Miller but I went to the London game and the guy got taken off. That's not a good sign against the weakest team. He just doesn't get involved and you can sense the other players don't fully trust him to steer the team around the park. I got that impression having watched FC for the first time this season in that game (due to being London based).
I actually think there is an arguement to keep Rankin, he doesn't set the world alight for me but he knows when to release the ball to keep an attack going, something which Richard Horne hasn't always done in my opinion.
Can't really see Dobson coming and would he really play with the same passion he did for Rovers? It was instilled in him to hate us I just can't see it.
Tommy Leulai would be an interesting signing if Motu can make it happen but I'd rather we went for a Scott Dureau type signing. Not suggest we can get him but that's the sort of 7 we need in my opinion.
