| Quote Jake the Peg="Jake the Peg"I think a lot of people are just fed up with the whole club. I know people who have been massive supporters, travelling to many away games and being pass holders for years who have decided not to renew for 2014'"
AP should put an offer on for reduced season passes after round 3 (as in reduced further than the missed game(s)) for all these sorts of fans that will inevitably come crawling back

| Pi$$ poor recruitment and Radford as head coach was enough for me but now Cooke, of all people, looks like he'll be back on the club's payroll!!!!!!!!!! INCREDIBLE!!

| I think some of the "true fans" need to accept that not everyone is in the fortunate position of being able to blindly hand money over to support our club. Support comes in many forms not just sat on the terraces.
As I have watched the club for many years my circumstances have changed. Initially as a kid, my attendance relied on my parents taking me. Then as a student my attendance was almost guaranteed as my income was spent on FC, Beer and girlfriends ideally all together. Then as a working man I budgeted to watch the team all the time. Now as a family man, my priorities have changed. I have to provide for my loved ones. If I don't feel that the £100+ a game it costs to watch Hull FC can be justified week in week out does that make me less of a fan?
Maybe I miss one or two games so that I can afford to kit the kids out in FC gear? Maybe I miss one or two games simply to feed the kids. Maybe I miss one or two games because my car failed its MOT. The car I need to get to work in order to afford to go and watch Hull FC. Maybe I miss one or two games simply because I don't enjoy the product on the pitch that has cost me a small fortune to watch.
We all have various reasons for supporting Hull FC. We all have various reasons for not attending every game like "true fans". I admire all who go week in week out. I have been there before. But circumstances change so stop with the "I'm a better fan than you because......" bulls41t and accept that we all love the club in our own special individual way.

| There are plenty like me who get a pass mainly to keep the seat. I miss 4 or more games on my season pass each year making it a money losing "luxury" item. If Radford is the next coach I wont renew but I will get to the odd game instead.

At the end of the day,all sports are in the entertainment business, if you're not entertained ,people dont go.
Coupled with austerity, people cant justify nor afford £200+ for a pass, if they arent getting value for money.
IF AP delivered a BIG name coach, supporters would realise a signal of intent from the club, this MIGHT convince fans to renew, or if he continues with an unproven head coach,I think he will be surprised by the fans reaction.

| Everyone has their own choices to make and rightly so. I've bought mine as it's my way of supporting the club financially. Without financial support there is no club in my view so that's why I do it. In particular we have an owner who to me clearly wants to make this work so it's my small contribution to helping achieve that.
Obviously there's a stack of speculation around and not all of it will be true. If this new approach of recent ex players running the show comes to fruition and actually starts to bear fruit as it has at other clubs I hope that those who are rubbishing the possibility of it working come back and support the club. If it fails then it fails - we're only really back where we are now. It's a different approach to solve a long running problem. Worth a try in my view.

Good post saves me typing out similar.
I class myself as a fan & supporter of Hull FC ever since my first game when I was 7 years old and am now in my early 40's. I have had a season pass for as long as I can remember and always renewed no matter what.
However things change in peoples lives and although I will always be a fan & supporter of Hull FC I seriously have to question whether this year I will renew. For me the enjoyment of going to games has erroded due in part to the way the game has gone and also the dross served up over the past decade after I thought we had turned the corner with the CC win and GF appearance.
I can think of more important things and more enjoyable things to spend the money I earn on currently other than Hull FC as I think they have had plenty out of me over the years.
I can accept changes in players, coaches and results not always going our way but to potentially have another assistant come through under another Head Coach that has failed to improve the performances is something that I seriously have to question. On top of that the rumour that is seemingly gathering pace in a certain Paul cooke returning in some capacity for me would be the last straw.
With the latter how can a guy who walked out on a club and team mates leaving them high and dry command any sort of respect from anyone?
We have for the last decade tried and failed with moving assistants up to Head Coaches and if someone with the coaching experience that Gentle had struggled to turn things around at this club then I just can't see anything but another failure going down a similar road with Radford.

| If Cooke is to become involved in our club again I will not be happy at all.
We're heading for Radford + Cooke? Really??
