Tansey played in the halves on a couple of occasions but I can't remember if Horne played in any of those games.

Tommy, that is exactly my motivation for posting. Makes you wonder how many partners Sinfield has played with at Leeds or how many Deacon had with Bradford or Longy had at Saints? Those I expect those clubs had consistency in the halves and have won every SL Grand Final but for 2 Wigan wins.

2,3,4 & 5 all cracking halfbacks then it all went wrong. On paper some good ones afterwards but for various reasons its been a disaster.

Word was he was disruptive n full of himself and he never made the no7 his own here anyway. He was a few yrs before he became anything like the player he is now. Otherwise other s l clubs would of come in for him when he had to drop down to the championship.
