| Keith seemed to have such fragile legs but always gave his all and had a fair turn of speed on his day, remember his 2 long range efforts against York in the cup. I don't remember anything of the benefit match but being only 13 I wasn't nursing a hangover from the Saturday as I was only allowed a couple of cans on the coach home  |

Again you're right. His comeback game was against Bradford at Odsal, may have been a cup game. In the pre match the then Bradford coach Peter Fox said Tindall would be "As weak as a kitten".
That's why he scored two tries then Peter. |

Iirc we drew 8 all. There were literally hundreds of fans walking up the hill from the train station.

Good memories of the Boulevard. No advertising, just the white boards. They were banged before an opposition kick at goal and made quite a racket. Great to see the original shirst in the crowd. Irregular hoops all the way!!

I've got a ball from the Keith Tindall benefit year too, not a match ball i don't think though. The ball i have was given to me by my future father in law, it was won by him at one of his benefit nights. I think he said it was Trades and Labour club if not, i'm not sure where but it was down Bev road. It was on the 11th March 1982 which was actually the day my partner was born, my father in law got a message to get his  to hospital like.
The ball say's KEITH TINDALL BENEFIT HULL F.C 1981-1982 on it and it signed by the Hull F.C team and also has some of the Great Britain and France teams signatures on it too.
