Not sure what to make of it. Very disappointed with our execution and the backs overall were poor today. Well done to Horne for stepping in at FB but shows the value of Whiting in the 17. Forwards fronted up well IMO. Did well to get back to 22-20 but they were always the better team and showed us to be short in the kicking department.

Indeed, surprised me that it took them so long to finish us off, they were in '3rd gear' at best.

We were the better team today but threw it away with some stupid plays and decision, simples.

Rubbish. We was at best average with no real clue in attack. Hudds were easily the better side without even getting out of first gear

We lost it by being impatient and trying to force the pass in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd tackles. Stupid mistakes which Hudds capitalised on. Silly flat face balls are from Houghton and Obst. Saying that, Hudds bombed their fair share of chances as well.

Our defence at times was actually good I thought, the intensity from the forwards (and Yeamo) in some of the tackles was the best I've seen this season and we kept them out for 3 sets on the bounce in which in the end they decided to kick for goal instead.

Shows how much we miss Long, our long kicks were dire as per.

Hull were totally outclassed and looked clueless.

Hudds had an off day and still murdered them.

The lack of respect that Hull were given was illustrated by the number of kicks on the first tackle Hudds made.

Hull didn't deserve to be close and in the end weren't. With Horne at full back Hull were no threat at all in attack.

Total piffle mate, i don't care what "gear" they were supposedly in, how far away from their supposed best they were, fact is we played well enough to be in it at half time, handled a lot of pressure early in the second half and out muscled them in the final quarter. If we hadn't handed them 12 easy points from try returns when we had them on the back foot we would have had the game.

just got back from the game, too many silly errors cost us you cant give a team as good as hudds that sort of territory and possesion and expect to win, i thought horne had a good game and manu was awesome yet again.

Have to agree. Thought their late tries gave the scoreline a more true reflection.

Would love to know what our completion rate was. Far too many unforced errors.

As a neutral what does Westerman bring to your team? Didn't see him much or even his name mentioned much in commentary today and having watched you on Sky this year I cannot say he's stood out at all? Waste of money so far?

Western was poor today definitely.

As for the rest of the team we make mistakes cos we're rubbish, but the opposition makes them cos they're in a low gear lol.
