Thank you Adam Pearson for giving the faithful hope:

Yeaman should move to right centre as it has already been mentioned he dosn't pass anyway, so it makes no difference what side of the pitch he is on. Hall should play left centre as thats where all his tries come from, and Whiting on the right wing with Turner on the left wing. Give Briscoe a bit of time in the U20's

Quote: Punos "I think we may have underestimated how much we are missing Richard Horne who before his injury was one of the stand out players and one little "show & go" last night might have made a big difference. 7 clear break he has made this season and we have missed him, please be back.
Problems are clear to see in our 3/4

Tansey - very quiet again.
Lyne - Yes made a an error for there 2nd try but had tracked all the way back to be there, out muscled by Broughton. Will get better.
Whiting - Tried hard going forward but maybe could have helped out with Broughton tries more.
Yeamon - Tries for big hits too many times and gets caught out (missed 14 tackles this year) Just cannot pass and doesnt.
Briscoe - (Confidence loss, Was called up for GB when Hall was his centre, says it all)

Whats missing, simple Hall.

Tansey - Get more involved.
Briscoe - Got called up for GB with Hall as his centre, enough said
Hall - Over to you craig, show them how its done.
Yeamon - Can do his catch and drive to the line from right centre as well, lets face it he never passes anyway.
Whiting. - Never lets you down

Lets get our best 2009 attacking partnership going again, just wish Agar would have the balls to move yeamon but he wont.'"

we need Horney for the derby game IMO

If Horne and Calderwood were fit the team picks itself but neither of them could be so the only real decision would then be the wing spot and who goes out to replace Yak. Assuming Horne is fit and Calders isn't;-

Tansey
Turner
Hall
Yeaman
Briscoe
Horne
Long
Dowes
Berrigan
O'Meeley
Tickle
Manu
Fitzgibbon

Moa
Yak
Lauaki
Hougton/Whiting

Worth a shot with Turner on the wing I feel and would drop Radders and keep Moa in.

If horne is fit Hall has to be in, I woudl drop Lauaki, his errors are too costly at the moment, thought Moa had a decent game so would keep in for, would drop Radford. I would play Fitz at 2nd row and give washbrook a game, give us more attcking options.

Tansey
Hall
Whiting
Yeaman
Brsicoe
Horne
Long
O Meley
Berrigan
Tickle
Fitzgibbon
Washbrook

Moa
Cusack
Houghton
Manu

If Horne isnt fit, same team but with Turner at 6.

4 Yeaman
5 T. Briscoe

16 Radford
17 Moa

Moa has got to keep his place, Horne back in for Turner, had a shocker last night, luckily for Yeaman otherwise he'd of been dropped for Turner in the centres. Berrigan is lucky to keep his place again, last chance then Houghton starts from then on. Hall in at centre. Big improvements needed from Dowes, Radford, O'Meley and Fitzgibbon.

the only thing with having hall on the left is that teams will really target that side as you have long then hall and then briscoe not 1 of them defensivley are good. yeamo has to improve but i do think that for this game deffo he needs to stay on the left. id have whiting and hall on the right with whiting on the wing. people will say that hall is more of an winger then whiting but just thinking about it espcially returning kicks hall is weak no doubt about it and he isnt confident at all and justs gets smashed but noticed when whiting returns the ball hes confident and makes good yards and more times then not he gets to his front and dosent get dominated and gets a quickish play the ball.also then hall can play his best natrual position in centre. i dont think radders was that bad want his best game but made good yards but dint get enough game time. fitzy was really poor yesterday but will be the first name on the team sheet and deserveley so aswell what im saying is that ok we were crap yersterday but making alot of changes isnt the answer. moa should be kept in thought he played well he added that impact when came on and defensivley very good, bit of a shame really becasue he was defending most of time when he was on the pitch so had to do alot of work defensivley. so horne for turner and hall for lynne with whiting on the wing and we should be abit stronger and better

I really hope Horne is fit for Friday, there were a few times last night when someone made a half break and nobody was backing up, I think if Horne had played he'd have been right there on their shoulder.

It doesn't matter what line up we go with, if we show no desire, no commitment and a distinct lack of ability as we have done in our last 3 away games we will get beat.

I'd drop Yeamo for the derby. Was woeful last night. Hall left centre and Turner or Whiting right centre.

Very true. After the Crusaders game I though maybe it'd give us the kick up the backside we needed against the lower sides but after last night I'm not so sure. I am now expecting the usual case of stagefright and lack of enthusiasm we normally get for the derby games.
