C'mon 'Faithful'.............................I read in the paper.....The recession is over.....A QUID!!!!!!!! (Geldof mode ) and i'll see if they'll let me wear my FC shirt for the jump !!!

The jump has been paid for by the NGVFA already (£240....i believe)....I have covered that on a seperate sponsor form. The remainder of the cash raised on this form is gonna be shared equally between the 'Life For A Kid Foundation' and the NGVFA.
All the proceeds on the just giving page will go to the NGVFA.....NONE of this money will 'leak into the system' like a lot of the 'other' big Gulf/Afgan charity lets happen. Gift aid is used to the max with the NGVFA......They believe that the UK Government fleece enough from every nook and cranny anyway.....so the veterans get every available penny needed to give 'em standard of life they deserve.
For example.......I met one of these guys on New Years Eve....he was out with our party. He was given 'anti nerve gas' drugs during the first Gulf war.....he also experienced Blue on Blue fire first hand (or friendly fire to us)......He is a sound fella, getting on with life as a plumber in Warrington these days....THANKS TO THE HELP OF THIS CHARITY.......Before that.....he was on suicide watch!!! There are thousands of men and women in the same boat......I just see that if jumping out of a plane can help 'em, considering what they have been through.....then its an easy task. I just wanna raise as much as I can and make myself proud of my achievment !!!!

Thanks Chewie, I asked because a friend did a similar jump about ten years ago and by the time "deductions" had been made there wasn't a lot left for the charity, this sounds much better organised and it's good that you are doing such a brave thing (hmmm, is it brave or daft to voluntarily jump out of a perfectly good airoplane??!), as soon as I am in a position to do so you can count on some support from us.

You've seen my friend on Facebook (Michelle) Well she works for the NGVFA, she took the plunge with her twin sister on her birthday last year......said it was the best feeling of terror and joy (?) she has ever experienced.....SHE MADE ME DO IT LOL

Not that lucky mate.......She doesn't want a bloke....just a friend....(still, wouldn't mind though!!!!!...She's gorgeous.)
The jump is on May 18......Gotta go to Wiltshire to the home of the Red Devils. At least i'm gonna be jumping with the best in the world. They are friends of the NGVFA anyway...and have an 100% survival rate
