Yup. We'd all like to see Wayne Bennett appointed, but of all the people who will be available and almost certainly willing to come, Noble is a good option and an infinite improvement on what we currently have.

I've never particularly "liked" Noble but his record in SL speaks for itself and he just has to be better than what we have.

My biggest concern would be that the clearout that we desperately need might be put on to the backburner for another season or two.

We could do both and have a player / coaching clear out, top to bottom of the club...Noble( (or whoever) to come in and form their own coaching staff etc.

I've been told that he has left. Time will tell I suppose.
