I actually think the opposite. I doubt the Hull board ever give the dobbins a 2nd thought other than rubbing their hands at a bumper attendance when you visit. rovers are the opposite (understandably so) and see being top team in Hull as their next objective. Hull's goals are much more global.

House!
Quote: super sub terry day "
The relationship between the club and the fans is now irrepairable, as mentioned in a previous post they and the players are mere custodians of our club and we the fans will be here long after they have left.'"
Not sure, to be honest. I think that may be a little OTT.

| In perspective yes we may have lost to cas by a point, by four points at home to Rovers and Salford and 10 by Quins, but, thats stil 4 losses, it doesnt matter how many you lose by, you dont get any points for coming second.
We deserved to lose yesterday for our first 60 minute display, we were boring, except our first try which was top notch i thought.
Only when we started to put some aggression in the defense did they start making the mistakes we had made all match and start applying some very telling pressure.
Its just a shame it took 60 or so minutes to kickinto gear what we should have done from the off. (Maybe thats why people feel the lack of effort)

| I was looking at the 06 season review before Fridays game to see how we played when we went on that run. The majority of the team is still their but we have lost key playesr without ever replacing withh better.
Mcmenemy- committed and a ball player
Chester - Ball player
Cooke - Ball Player
Briscoe - International Fullback
Swain - Leader and organiser
Brough- Runner-kicker-tackler
Carvell- main pack man
We have not replace with anything like, we are severley missing a scrum half (please don't think lee is the answer he has had more chances than other player I have ever seen to make the position his own)
We need to sort out this bloody visa issue.
Get a good scrum half
and a couple of hard men in the pack
And a fullback who is safe and runs out with power.
We need to give the likes of washy and whiting a proper run in their proper postions and
I feel this season is at a crucial point forget saints its wakey and salford lose these season is over..
Sorry,

don't forget Domic as well, he ran for 80mins every week, was very consistent and determined
of all that list only Swain got replaced adequately

Mcmenemy and chester i dont think we miss tbh. Those two were out for long periods due to injuries. The rest i agree.
Also i agree with Jake the peg's comments ,There were games we should be winning.

| The OP comment of losing the Salford game due to a forward pass is missing the point. We should have played well enough to win that game outright prior to the forward pass becoming the issue...the bottom line was we were mickey poor against a poor Salford outfit.
The same yesterday.....we got to within a score of Rovers but in all honesty they (and it really narks me off having to say this) were the better team for 50 odd minutes.....we didn't deserve anything out of the game.
Putting things into perspective...we have lost 4 games on the bounce that we should be winning, three of these at home which for me is scandalous!

| We are run by a group of clowns, we can all agree on that. However lets face it, Kath isnt going to walk nor is JR or any other members of our board. Why don't we just maybe I don't know, support the team? Surely as fans that isnt too much of an ask? I think people are forgetting we won our first 5 games, everyone was in good spirits, the team were performing well, and everything was going very smoothly. All of a sudden, we hit a bad patch and nobody has a positive word to say! Yeah ok maybe the last 4 games were all winnable, but who can honestly say they expected us to start so well? 5 wins from 8 is a good start and I'm sure most of us would have taken that at the start of the season. Last year was absolutely torrid and we struggled to string consecutive wins together, but we still followed our team in huge numbers, home and away. My suggestion is that we all stick by our team and show some much needed support at the minute, no matter how pi$$sed off you are with our current situation. We've got Saints on monday and I know the majority of us are expecting a heavy defeat, but you never know we might win? And if we do, I can guarantee everyone will be full of joy again and singing our praises. After every defeat we seem to have 10+ threads dedicated to slating the team/club in one way or another, however believe it or not losing is part and parcel of the game, you can't win them all! If you havent already quite understood the concept of this post, what I'm trying to say is.. keep supporting the lads and lets get down in numbers to Knowsley Road and show everyone that we are the best fans in superleague!

| I know the Reardon signing has it's own thread, but I stated this morning that Hull have everything in place to be the strongest side in the british game, but it's the board that hold you back.
Once again, after giving the nod for Reardon's signing, and with the recent coverage of Ben Cockayne, Kath and her cronies have made your club a laughing stock.
