If the East Stand was all unreserved I reckon the atmosphere would be much better. It's not the stadium that provides a lack of atmosphere its the division of the East Stand. You have Chav Corner (which I go in) which makes most of the noise at games but for some reason has a bad reputation which puts people off. Then you have the reserved block which doesn't seem to make too much noise in comparison. Then theres the South end of the East stand which from my experience of when I sat there, and from what I can tell from my seat now, just make a noise about most reffing decisions

| you dont really get a sense of the atmosphere on the telly anyway do you?
ive been to matches that were deafening, buzzing and so one but when you see highlights it seems really quiet, maybe its something to do with where the microphones are based?

Bradford in the play-offs 2006, the game were we drew 20-20 with Wigan (Andy Farrell was fantastic that game iirc) stick in my mind. There was another game a couple of seasons back which sticks in my mind too but can't remember the opposition for the life of me. Was one of the 'big 4' though I think.
Its just a shame that most games have a crap atmosphere

I think its rare that you get a true reflection of an atmosphere unless you are at a game, no matter ths sport

| ive only been in the away end obviously, for some reason the atmosphere was great 2 years ago. but last season was a very poor atmosphere TBH, well except for the other 3 stands which seemed a little happy for some reason

| If the constant shouting of 'forward' 'get em on side' and singing to your hearts content about other clubs is what you call atmosphere then fair comment

Like Craven Park, it was isolated to one part of the ground rather than the total stadium like the KC.

The atmosphere in that game was fantastic (think it was in 2004?). I can remember a Wigan player going for a penalty/conversion down the east stand side and the noise was deafening. A friend who'd either watched on sky or listened to it on the radio called me after the game and commented how loud the crowd was.

| There's been zilch atmosphere at caravan park in the derby games there since they came up (including the one we won!). It may feel great if you're in the east stand but the rest of the ground is carp. SKY coverage doesn't give the impression there is any anyway.
I think the atmosphere at the KC is generally OK, occassionally excellent and sometimes rubbish. Depends on the game, the opposition and how many away fans there are

| Personally I couldn't give a toss what the atmosphere is like at Craven Park.
