| Quote: Tarquin Fuego "In this struggling economy , cash is King. AP had cash and was looking for a great cheap investment. A fool and his money are easily parted so he can't be a fool . So why but FC ? he has many options that the cash rich have access to for e.g.
Does he buy 2-3 mansions in Swanland ? Industrial unit to let out ?
Gold ? Farm land ? Utility licence ? precious artwork ? Precious metals ?
No , he buys FC outright !
I can 100% assure you he bought it as an investment . Buying investments are for income or capital growth. Maybe even a bit of both but the buyer must see something. Income may not be the driver here as he plans to spend money on top of existing expenses. So I summise he hopes for a better sale price in 2-4 years time ? '"
Why else would he buy a business?
Quote: Tarquin Fuego "
Who could he have in mind as a buyer of the Club in the future when he will by definition as a businessman/investor , look to sell at a much higher price than he paid. He will sell when he can see a nice profit and I reckon the Allams would be the people he would hope to sell to in the medium term.'"
What are you basing this on? He and Wilkinson owned City for seven years, why do you think he'd not be at Hull FC at least as long? Why woud he sell to the Allams?
Few too many conspiracy theorists on here.

19862_1323383936.jpg This is Poorhouse Lane. And this is Neil, the rovers supporter who leads an exciting double life. For when Neil sponsors RLFANS an amazing transformation occurs. [color=#80BF40:1y1okols]Neil is Cabbageman[/color:1y1okols]. Ever alert for the call no injury too small!

| Our next coach needs to be the right one not just what's available at the time.
As an extra Agar is loved by a lot of people throughout the club could we see him move into a footballing operations manager post? more of a sideways move ?

| Just got back from holiday great news this Hope were more open with the media now. Nice to have phones back on humberside again and james rule more open with his interviews. How adam kept this so quite is unbelievable in this city. Also for rugby league this is a good move to have him on board.

I would be surprised if he did, but you never know what pearson may have up his sleeve.

My mistake, no worries.

And until then I bet he brings in a consultant to advise until the end of the season. If he doesn't, and we fail to make the playoffs or do and lose the first game, pass sales for next season will be a major headache for him.
Has Noble finished his consultancy at Halifax?

| I wish I had Standee's and Paul M's confidence.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Agar still there at the start of next season.

Don't go saying things like that! [iThe[/i biggest positive from Pearson taking over is that Agar will (hopefully) no longer be untouchable.
