Wigan sometimes allow their loaned out players to play against them, sometimes not. Wane used to when he was head coach but not sure where Peet is on this. Seeing as we'll be short of four props against you guys perhaps he won't allow it.
BTW how did Eseh play today?
Doesn?t play many minutes atm but when he took a hit up he was very strong and difficult to put down. Good metres after contact. Defence is a worry and something he needs to work on. Like him though and would keep him if Wigan release him.

Knight best prop on the pitch for me got to keep him somehow
I thought he was OK, maybe because he was overplayed, but thought he made two crucial defensive mistakes, the Morgue try and right at the start of the Batchelor try. He has been good, but think people are going a bit over the top with him. Anyway no way he can stay unless we release a quota player. I know it won't happen but given his injury history and if they persist then i'd look at releasing Jed to keep Knight. Given how well Ashworth went at second row yesterday, we have a ready made replacement. Thought about this myself but Jed is by far our best second rower. A really really good player, just can't get a good run of games going. Would be gutted if we let him go but would fully understand the reasoning. But ultimately I don't think we will release him anyway.

He was massively fatigued yesterday but had clearly put his hand up to play long minutes. I think his wire performance is more of an indicator of his undoubtedly quality

| Knight was absolutely gassed yesterday, think he played the entire first half and about 30 mins second half, he and Herman both played big minutes (which would have really reduced their impact as the game went on).

| All stemmed from Chamberlain going down early. No doubt Ashworth playing at prop would have reduced the minutes Herman and Knight needed to do. As it turned out Ashworth probably our best player but puts more stress on Herman and Knight, who now have to back it up again against Wigan next week which will be a massive task. Could do with Watts coming back in.

Laidlaw was 18th man I think for us yesterday so wonder if he'll come into the 17.

Maybe nrl Europe has a higher salary cap - the clubs doing transfer business now/linked with high profile names are the clubs rumoured to be joining it. There's a potential tie up between SL & NRL TV deals for 2028 if rumors are to be believed with Amazon & DAZN coming to the table and SL leaving Sky . While SKY have had too much power for too long the game has got to be careful it doesn't lose the mass appeal SKY brings. It's often the default channel in pubs and RL has a lot of old fans who simply won't know what DAZN is. As an example I've never heard of this Union player Wigan have signed because the Union Premiership has been hidden away in BT/TNT which I don't have. If we are pushing mote games onto streaming then we need at least one game every week on BBC/Channel4 for free or the game risks becoming hidden away.

| American wrestling has moved to Netflix in a multi billion dollar deal. You can see where other sports are starting to adapt to the online market.

| whilst sky hold the biggest share of Premier League football and football league matches, every other sport will be fighting for the loose change
change is needed, maybe allow clubs to stream their own games for extra revenue

I agree, if the Bell deal isn't done we have to question which is the better option. Both are the same age.
