think about it,
everyone has to travel at least an hour to us, so coach fares wont be under a tenner. £25 to get in, because its a longer day you need food and drink at the ground. £3.70 for Guinness and £2.50 for a molten lava pie is steep'"
Ah - so now it's just away fan numbers it's affecting.
Nowhere to get cheaper food and drink outside the stadium, then? Bring something in with you?
I really doubt that the cost of a pie and a pint at the KC is a significant factor. The unavoidable costs of the day certainly are - but then that's already been mentioned several times.

Its not £7.20 a pint.
£24 for a top flight sporting event is still CHEAP. For the amount of moaning many on here do about the comparision between RL and soccer, it doesnt seem to bother than many soccer fans that they would pay double that of what it costs to attend a Premier league game.'"
I am attending a premier league match next month at a total cost of £30 for myself and my 15 year old son (£20 for me and £10 for him).
Sunday was my first game for a while and i thought £24 was a bit steep. Can't afford to pay that too often.

| Sunday attendances may be effected as opposed to Friday nights, but no one can state that as an absolute fact. The gate has many differing factors this season to add in and top has to be economic down turn is hitting Hull harder the most. Many fans will pick and choose matches, the day that match is played on will have no difference. I also have noticed that the South is quite full, the east is down a little but the West stand looks bare now. What ever is happening appears to me to be West Stand based, only an observation in the league games.
I have noticed a change at the turnstyles last week as I pay to come in every match, this week I got a ticket handed to me when I payed, now that has never happened before. Its too early to make any assumptions yet and the move to Sundays maybe had more to do with our use of the stadium coupled with Skys changes. A mix of matches would be better all around, but some how I do not think that is going to happen now.
Also the departed regime and coach are still having a negative effect on both the team and fans, too many unfullfilled promises in the last four years have left many totally hacked off.

The ticket thing is down to the Muamba incident and nothing else.
If the game enters the second half theres no refunds if it gets called off. If its still first half and its called off then you get a refund

If you check we play RL
and its upto the RFL to deside if a match results stands or does not, generally speaking anything over 60-65 mins played, the result stands.
This is something to do with accounting who paid what .

| I really hope that we don't use a few poor attendences agains what are 3 of the poorer sides in the ecompetition as an excuse to go back to all Friday nights. Sundays and a team playing a good brand of rugby will work as someone else said there are still a lot of other factors including ecconomics and the dissatisfaction with the last few years performance and mamangement.

Because of your red and White affliction, you and I are not going to agree on much, but you are spot on there.
Go to an rl game for the sport. If you want a drink get one. If you don't like the price or the quality, don't have one. Simple as.

| It cost fans plenty to go away at Saints the previous weekend & despite the euphoria of winning for some they cannot afford to go to all the matches they want to. So in some ways the Widnes match was one on many people's calendar to miss out I reckon.
Chances are they thought we would win easy or it would be a dire game against a lowly team and with it being Mothers day that'll have had an impact for sure as others have said previously.
Think we need to stop getting a hang up about how many turn up and get singing. The West stand was quiet as anything though at least we didn't have the sun in our eyes )
Is the tannoy system allowed to filter through the start of old faithful? Use a recording of the fans singing (and not with music) which then might help create some more atmosphere

Speaking of the tannoy system, it really sounds like it is on its last legs...or maybe that's just the speakers near us in the East stand? I feel sorry for the singers who have to attempt to sing through it constantly cutting out or the sound jumping.

Speaker system is much poorer in the East Stand than the West. In the West it's pretty clear and I've never had a complaint about it, but in the East it's often hard to figure out what's being said sometimes.

| I am sure AP will be disappointed with the Sunday attendances so far but I think he has been unlucky the way things have turned out i.e.
Warrington - snow and ice made getting to the ground difficult. Very cold
London - Sunday teatime WTF?
Wakefield - heavy rain pretty much all day
Widnes - Mother's Day
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Bradford is the best attendance of the season so far and it is a better atmosphere too.
