Sandow not turned up for pre season training for Wire. Leaving the club... we need to offer sneyd a big contract now and get him tied down before clubs come sniffing.

Rumours in Leeds that Segeyaro is Cronulla bound too.
The exchange rate probably playing a part with players now realising that any lucrative SL contracts they signed originally, aren't lucrative anymore. |

think we need to offer a new deal to Fonua - he is still young, and i think will only get better. The fact he started pre season last week and looks in far better shape already than he did in the early few rounds of SL this year could mean he is gonna have a fantastic year

Would be very surprised if Fonua extended his contract. Would welcome it, but I reckon he could have got an NRL gig before he came over here. Pre-season in this weather could be the deal breaker  |

Melbourne has its share of lousy weather too !
Did we get him on a two year deal ? Is there an extension clause ? He's someone who I'd be happy to see tied to a long deal. But if he only decided to see his existing deal out and return to the NRL he'd go with my thanks & very best wishes. But that's a long way off yet, we've got plenty of bosh to look forward to first.

He likes the colder weather apparently rather than hot weather but i very much doubt that will keep him here once his contract is up.
He wont have a problem getting a contract back in the NRL.
