| Headgear one is obvious. Brain injury comes from the brain hitting the inside of the skull so no amount of headgear is going to stop it and heavy headgear as per the nfl could well make it worse given it increases the weight of the head and therefore momentum.
Headgear can reduce cuts to the head and face though

I was hoping the injury situation would I prove this year with better fitness and conditioning but seemingly not
This is because you will always get a level of injuries in rl inspire of the best conditioning. Multi factorial I think- age, fatigue, fitness, hormonal - men too, prev injury, rehab. Etc etc. All clubs have injuries. strength in depth is what coaches aspire to but there’s salary cap issues. See HDM article re Rovers lack of academy prospects. It suggests their success may be short term. Hardakers situation if a muscle strain maybe similar to Jed Cartwrights. But we don’t know the nature of problem You'll always get a level but we seem worse than most, certainly lying the Dobbins are faring better than us and will likely to be able to field a team nearer full strength than us for the Derby unless they suddenly get a stack of injuries this weekend

| I can't see Cartwright taking any risks reckon we'll line up something like:
Moy Briscoe Rapana Chamberlain Martin Kemp Sezer Herman Burough Knight Fash Lane Asiata
Ashworth Watts Salaibo/Eseh Hutchinson/Litten
Maybe too soon for Litten to do the 80 and can't see Cust being risked.

| 12-15pm train to Glasshoughton. Bags dumped at Xscape Premier A few in Winter Seam, Wethers. 5 minute train journey to Castleford. Station pub, Castlefields, The Glass Blower, Lion, Wheldale hotel (Boot Room). It's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it.............. Another 'W' would be magnifique. Fingers crossed campers.

| With our injuries stacked, home advantage for them and our last couple of clunky performances, Cas will probably fancy a win. I think it'll be a tight game but still a win for us. The transformation in attitude and team spirit is clearly evident and has seen us come through against more difficult opposition.

| Shut-down Sexy-Texy and we'll hopefully get the job done. Backed the Hermanator for another power-over. 5/2, try anytime.

| Think we could struggle tonight especially if we don't turn up with the right attitude. We've got quite a few out and others won't be risked with next week in mind.
Cas will start fast and try and get into us early.
