Talk of Green and Bowden is a little harsh, their wages compared to for example Westy I am sure the coach expects more from him than those two.
All teams have stars and players who are grafters/fillers in the squad, I think Bowden shows some promise and his aggression would have helped against Salford.

Wages have zero relevance to performance. Westerman is below his best but still contributing more than Green, and at least we know that Westy can get better. The same can't be said for Green, sadly.

Why would we want a centre, who in SL 2014 (playing two less games than Yeaman) had the following stats:

Try Assists - 15
Meters - 2,158
Average Gain - 9.11m
Offloads - 28
Errors - 19
Tackle Busts - 47
Clean Breaks - 12
He also had just 32 missed tackles.

The vastly superior Yeaman measures up:

Try Assists - 9
Meters - 1,845
Average Gain - 7.38m
Offloads - 11
Errors - 30
Tackle Busts - 32
Clean Breaks - 15
With 37 missed tackles.

surely if you pay one player 100k and the other 50k (figures pulled out of the air) then yes both should give 100% effort but you would expect more from one ability/creative wise. lets hope tonight everyone turns up firing.

I'd rather have Wardel than Cudjoe.

I'd also be happy with Junior Sau from Salford.

We will probably look to the NRL though.

Our problem especially against a lesser teams, has been a problem for many seasons...

It is a collective team issue, other RL teams employ a Sports Psychologist, AFAIK... we don't...

Regarding Green, I think he's mainly selected as he can play a lot of minutes, maybe we should use
our interchanges more wisely..

I'd be surprised if Green & Feka are here next season.. Paea may not be signed, as Taylor will probably replace him on the cap.
I expect next season in the prop dept, that Ellis ,Taylor,Bowden,Watts Thompson and possibly BTW...

Right centre is a problem. maybe the young English centre at the Eels,might return...

Or we could just give the spot to Logan?
