I'd say Whiting was most definitely not in that category. He's proven to be reliable and versatile in whatever position you play him. Rarely has a bad game.

I'm a little shocked AA, I honestly thought you may have been RW's agent.

Fair enough, and I agree with you. My point being that at the start of the season, where would he have been an automatic selection? He got back on track last season after those horrible injuries, but wasn't an automatic selection (hence his number 21) but has taken his opportunites and played so well this season that he pretty much is now.

Agreed. Is it wrong that I'm growing attracted to your avatar?

As i said, i'll have a look. But i'm fairly confident there's more than one person calling for Briscoe to be treat as Hall.
Not much!
I notice you moving the goalposts there. Since when did 'calling for his head' mean 'being treat(sic) like Hall'? Unless you're suggesting that Hall was treated badly or unfairly?
You also need to look up the word 'bitter'. For your information the definition will not read 'anyone who disagrees with my opinion of a player'.
HTH & HAND.

HTH & HAND.'" Ok, there maybe a little confusion here. Hall was dropped, people wanted Briscoe to be treat the same (not many but certainly more than one). It's pretty much the same.
The bitterness jibe was a bit tongue in cheek, but still you bit.

That's not how I remember it. I recall the point being more about the lack of slack people were willing to cut Hall compared with Briscoe and some others. I only really remember one poster suggesting that Briscoe should be dropped and I only remember that because it was an odd position to take.
I could be wrong though.

If a flat denial is a bite then trolling just got a whole lot easier.

Suppose it depends on which way you take those sort of comments.

| It's got to be up there with the best try saving tackles of all time. Having watched the replay , I never knew he was so far away from his wing. Cunningham , Grothe , Drummond now Briscoe.

| Where have you guys been watching the replay? I've yet to see a clip, other than the little one on the sky sports review of the game (on the website).

| Don't have sky sports and was at work when superleague show aired.
It'll probably be on the superleague website tomorrow, fctv don't usually have it until tuesday/wednesday, sometimes later. I'll still watch it on there though Better commentary than the silence that is sltv.

It's on the Superleague show repeat on BBC2 at 03:40 Monday morning and also iPlayer. It's the first match on the coverage.

It was good to hear the respect he has for Fox in his post-match interview as well - Tom seems like a genuinely nice lad.
