| Why would they take the captaincy off Lynch? They won't do that, there's no reason for them to he's doing a superb job.

| I dont disagree with you, lynch is doing a great job. But in ellis you have a player still representing his country, has won player of the year for the past 3 seasons and is one of the best second rowers in the game today!! They will all be leaders on the pitch, the only difference is one will have a (c) next to his name

That'll be why some people are saying they'd jump at the opportunity to sign Chase, and others are saying they wouldn't want him, would it? Everyone jumping in and agreeing? If anything, the people who are saying they'd have him outnumber those who wouldn't.

Yes, definitely. If there was one criticism I would have of this board it would be of people being too scared to have an opinion.

Agree
Or maybe some would rather read than post in order to avoid disagreement/arguments with a number of posters who always go out their way to 'bully' or put down opinions that don't match their own.

How often has Ellis skippered Wests or England/GB?
A player's skills on the pitch do not necessarily transfer into skill as a skipper. We've all previously seen a player's form take a dip when they've had the captain's armband, some players just prefer to play their game without the responsibility.

| I honestly wouldn't use a quota spot or a lot of money on a winger, we have gone down that route before and it hasn't worked.
He must be getting on a bit as-well?

| Couple of bits of Hull news by the very reliable Dave Parker from the Sun.
We are looking at Finch.
And Leicester Tigers are after Harry Tyson Wilson, who is probably our brightest prospect.
He is a halfback and has a brother Bobby in the under 18's (prop) who also looks a good player.
Gentle and Mcrae have have sent him to train with the West Tigers for a couple of months.
Ex Hull player Rob Wilson is their Dad.

He hasn't gone to West Tigers. He's gone to the same rugby league academy as Benji Marshall and Sam Moa went to and it's for 6 months
