He was good against Sheffield particularly in defence hence why he was selected for the Saints game no doubt.

| I think the way the team played tonight justified Agars 17. Everyone played a part in a great TEAM performance.

Like I said Scott, Hame will go well for us. He is one of the best forwards around for coming on and giving impact. Yes he might miss a few tackles here and there but he showed last night what he can do with ball in hand.
However it's only one game, but a great start.

Was a great start, I have not seen many players tackle and roll Graham like that, Hame has fantastic strength.

You get the feeling that whoever he picked, it would have been a good team performance. What a promising start to the season.

Think you need to read the thread again, Wilf.

I think the call was Moa or Cusack wasn't it?
Just imagine what the score would have been with big Sam scattering them like skittles

I know you're selectively picking out our best forward of the night to big up your mate Agar, but as others have said, Cusack was picked over Moa if anyone. And IMO, he still offered little more than a fairly quick PTB 3 yards from the last one. The result was great, but personally I'm hoping it won't be used as an excuse to rest on our laurels and automatically name an unchanged side, improvements can and still must be made.
Lauaki was picked over Washbrook if anyone.

| Quote: Robbo4 "I'm sorry but those looking for some sort of tactical reason as to why Dowes, Radford and Cusack are all playing at the expense of Moa are clutching at straws. Its simply down to not having the balls to tell one of the three that they are dropped, simple as that. We now have 3 props who couldn't break an egg let alone a tackle. 3 into 2 just doesn't go so I suggest Mr Agar needs to grow a pair and decide which 2 to go with for the good of the team and if it puts 1 players nose out of joint so be it. The strength of the squad was supposed to allow Agar to pick players on form, on form Cusack doesn't deserve his spot. From what I understand Calderwood is not injured so dropping him to accomadate Hall on the wing is just bizarre! If you Hall needs to play then again, grow a pair, and pick him in his best position. Will these changes be the difference between winning and losing at Saints? Who knows but I'm alot less confident now.'"

| Agar says in the League Express that Calderwood pulled a hamstring in training but should be back for the Crusaders game. No other injuries. Says Burnett, Moa, Turner, Lyne, Kent, Washy just not selected.
Think he would have just put Calderwood in that group if he was fit and not picked.
