they should, i met a guy who had these postcards that players used to get to tell them they were playing with a time to turn up or what time the train left hull. his dad played for hull and died in the war, thing like that need keeping somwhere it our history if they get lost or damaged there gone.

I had a word with our fantastic historian Bill Dalton about my grandfather, who played one game for Hull in 1932. He only had a record of his surname, I am pleased to say I gave him an update of his middle and forename.

Have any of you been in the Cranegie lately I went to have a look this afternoon it might have been ideal at one time but now it is a very well run Heritage Centre. It is leased by Hull City Council and run by the Carnegie Heritage Centre Co Ltd. They have overeen the refurbishment of the building which now had a geniology resource several open access computers a lecture area and an extensive library of books and information about Anlaby Road West Hull and West Park.
The Hurricane that buzzed the KC a few games ago on the Blitz celebration day was actually honouring the exhibition they put on there.
They even do reminisance projects one of which is on Rugby League it was pretty impressive I thought.

i still think to hang framed shirts we would need flat high walls im not a football fan but did see how barcalona did theres and i been round manlys one i think the carnegie does a great job well i would being a history student i belive the city needs both, this city has got in the habit of getting something new but at the expence of somthing else, other so called big citys find a way round this the more things we have the more the city gets used (sorry about the rant but the city about to miss a chance with the bombed cinima on bev rd looks like it could be flats when it could have been made into something to teach kids about the airaids in hull
